why would you believe in something awful when you can believe in something wonderful?!

[ Women are born with pain built in. It's our physical destiny. Period pains, sore boobs, childbirth, you know. We carry it within ourselves throughout our lives. Men don't. They have to seek it out. They invent all these gods and demons and things just so they can feel guilty about things, which is something we also do very well on our own. And then they create wars, so they can feel things and touch each other, and when there aren't any wars they can play rugby. And we have it all going on in here, inside. ]

Belinda from "Fleabag"

Just watched Fleabag for the 2nd time and wow, this show is honestly such a lovely surprise of a great show. I mean, I know they won a lot of awards for both seasons but never got down to watch it until when my sister got free subscription to Amazon Prime HAHA But it's truly a show that just surprises you and make you have major withdrawal symptoms (which is why I rewatched it again hahaha). At first the genre is a bit too much but it truly gets better and especially in Season 2. It helps that there are only 12 eposides in total so it's so easy to binge. And I think it's also theses two quotes from Season 2 that are just so gut wrenching. The one about women and pain and it's so damn true I love it.

Anyway, this is really a super random post hahaha it has been so so long since I posted here and it feels both strange and comforting. Just wanted to document my love for this show in a longer prose somewhere LOL

Gentle reminder to also never lose faith and give up hahaha if you want something, work towards it and fight for it. Of course, good to be at peace that if you don't get it in the end, you are fine. But stop giving yourself excuses time and again and know that your heart wants it so just go for it.

[ Love is awful! It's awful. It's painful. It's frightening. Makes you doubt yourself, judge yourself. Distance yourself from the other people in your life. Makes you selfish. Makes you creepy! Makes you obsessed with your hair. Makes you cruel! Makes you say and do things you never thought you would do! It's all any of us want and it's hell when we get there! So, no wonder it's something we don't want to do on our own. I was taught if we're born with love, then life is about choosing the right place to put it. People talk about that a lot, it "feeling right". "When it feels right it's easy." But I'm not sure that's true. It takes strength to know what's right. And love isn't something that weak people do. Being a romantic takes a hell of a lot of hope. I think what they mean is when you find somebody that you love it feels like hope. ]
