Korea Trip Day 4

Tuesday 7th May 2013

• Everland!!!
• Gangnam (For a very short while)

EVERLAND!!! HAHA! Yes, going this place really happy enough already. Haha! Seriously love this theme park. We didn't go Lotte World 'cause we figured that we just go one of these two and it's enough already Haha! But yes, I want to go Lotte World next time also. Lol! Ok lar, I really really must and want to go back to Korea again. =D Too many places to visit already.

Before I go on to our awesome day at Everland, let me introduce one of the best thing ever in Korea. 

 

BANANA MILK. It's really so damn awesome and good. And their strawberry milk also. It's just really full of flavour and I'm not one who loves Banana flavoured stuffs but I really love this Banana milk. 

So anyway, the whole day was just going to Everland early in the morning all the way until night 'cause it closes at 10pm! Yes, that's why I really love overseas theme parks. They don't close very early. Haha!

 I love this photo 'cause we all look like we are not awake yet. HAHA! Or like half awake. And ohya, our daily morning routine was Sharon trying to wake us up. LOL! Usually, she would wake up first, then go wash up. After that she would come out and wake me up 'cause I'm the easiest to be woken up. Then after I'm done, it's one of the other 3. HAHA! The other 3 sucks ah. Heh. But yea lar, Sharon is the most sad one 'cause she really just wakes up. LOL! But luckily we have her if not all morning we will confirm laze around like crazy. Heh. Mother Sharon. =D

 And of course, the needed grumpy looking Maddy. Maddy Grumps Wong YL. Yes, that's your contact name on my handphone. HAHA!

Yes, I'm showing off my purple hair again. Haha! Or rather, burgundy hair. Heh. It's really very nice. And I really like it. Though you can only see it when the sun is shining on me. LOL! Oh well.

We went to Gangnam to take a bus over to Everland~  It was quite fast I think. The journey there wasn't very long even though Everland was out of Seoul. It's at Gyeonggi-do. But it's just outskirt of Seoul so it's still very convenient. =D

AND WE FINALLY REACHED!!  We all got really really excited when we first reached. Haha! Theme parks have something that just makes you really excited and happy and become a child again. Heh.

 And yes, when you are overseas, you need to buy something similar that all of you can wear together. =D So yes we bought stripy shirt! Haha! Though I think Lung and I wore it super damn often 'cause SMU is cold. Haha! And we bought one for Feli also~ It's really one of my favourite shirt. Heh.

HAHAHA I realise we were standing according to height here. LOL!

 Yes I need to stop posting photos of blossoms but they are really pretty, it's true.

HAHAHA Lung's craze over Pororo. She really got very excited whenever she saw Pororo. HAHA!

 OUR FIRST RIDE!! I think? Lol! It's either Pirate's ship or this spinning thing which I forgot the name already. Haha! But yea it was fun and awesome. Heh.

Queued super long for this water ride. And ohya, we were quite unlucky in that we went to Everland on either Korean's Children's Day or Parent's Day or what. Lol! So Everland was full of children. Kinda had to wait for quite a long time for some of the major rides. So that wasn't very fun but still alright. Haha! Just need to make sure to check their holidays before planning stuffs next time! Heh.

 This mother offered to help us take photos I think! Or did we ask her? Lol! Ok I forgot but I remembered her being a very nice lady. Haha!

Some random other ride we took~ yea I think we took quite a few rides that I really forgot most of them but they are all quite fun so just when you go Everland, just ride all if you want. Haha!

Oh. This was taken at the entrance. Haha! The sun was so bright that everyone's eyes disappeared. LOL!

 One of my favourite photo~This was taken by chance and from afar while waiting for a ride. But they are so cute and tiny. Like I will really want to go and hug them. HAHA! And yea, flowers all around makes it very nice too. Haha!

 Some spining ride. Haha! I realise  most of the ride in Everland are spinning rides. So maybe that's why Maddy died so bad at the end. HAHA! But ok, more on that laer. Heh.

So after walking around and playing rides, we finally felt hungry. Or rather, we just decided we should eat. And instead of eating American style food, we chose Korean food.

 AND IT WAS SO GOOD. One of the best meals in Korea. Haha! And I think the money was quite worth also. And yes, that's why it's quite awesome to go eat in groups 'cause we eat a variety of food and just share everything. =D Oh man, hungry again. =(

 OHHHH I LOVE THIS. Minimelts. Heh. It's nice on a sunny day. And yea, it wasn't cheap though. LOL! But aiya, sometimes, you just buy it. Haha!

We went on to see animals to digest our food before we continued the rides!

 YAAA This bear was really dancing Gangnam Style. HAHA! Super cute.

Yes, the bear was this close to us. But they are all really cute lar. Haha!

This photo looks nice somehow. LOL! It's the weird kind of us. 'Cause we look really happy I guess. Haha! All the pearlie whites~

So finally, we went to sit the best ride like ever created - THE T-EXPRESS. 

It is located in the European zone so the whole setting is just really awesome and pretty with all the nice decorations and stuffs. Heh. So yes, it was really quite awesome. 

IT'S ALL WOODEN. Damn cool. Haha!

We had to wait for super long for this ride though. I think we waited for more than 1 hour? At first we were thinking if we should go, but we were like, we are here already, let's just queue and sit this thing.

But then Lung really didn't want to sit and stuffs like that cannot force one ah. Lol! So she went to walk around the park and take photos! Haha!

Some of the animals she saw! They were really cute!! So luckily she see for us. Haha! BUT YA!!!! NEXT TIME WHEN WE GO BACK, SHE MUST SIT ALSO!!! =(

'CAUSE THE RIDE WAS SO FREAKING AWESOME. Ok at first I had the jitters. But that's what happens every time before the ride and while you wait. Lol! Like USS, I was scared when I was waiting to sit the Battlestar for the first time.

But omg the T-Express was really fun. Like I really enjoyed the ride and want to ride it again. Just that the queue was a bitch. But it was a long ride and fun and ahhh exhilarating like crazy. Haha! In life, you need such thrills at times and it's seriously very very shiok. I really really miss this ride like crazy. It's so good. I want to go again. =( Ok, I will go again. I'm quite sure. Just need money. Lol! But yes, I will go back again. It's really super worth it.

OHYA!! And Eun was saying how she wanted to film as going down and all that. LOL! Like we really actually considered filming and stuffs. But then we realised her phone will confirm fly off her hands if she does it. LOL! So yes, we scrape that. Haha!

And yesssss, I was really excited for this too 'cause Eunhyuk and Leeteuk took this ride during one of the variety shows that they were guests in. HAHA! Yes, I know, weird reason to be excited for but it's still exciting. And honestly, the ride is really really awesome.

After the ride, we met up with Lingli and went to walk around and take some random rides here and there and take photos~

 I really love this view. 'Cause it's just so pretty and it feels like you are in Europe. Haha!

 AND THIS. It's a scene that appears in many many Korean dramas or variety show. I remember this appearing in The King 2 Hearts, the engagement scene. Heh. And yes everywhere I went in Korea, I remembered seeing this on TV before and felt really excited.

HAHA! Us on merry go round and yes we were excited and happy for it too. Lol!

 BUMPER CARS. Still the best thing ever and makes you really wonder why you can't seem to find it in Singapore anymore. =(

So yes, here's the start of Maddy's unpleasant experience. Haha!  The Hurricane. HAHA!

 Yea it's this spinning thing. LOL! Before I went, Weiying showed me a video of this I think and I was like, "Siao, I'm not going to ride that." But I did. HAHA! And ok lar, it wasn't that bad. It's just spinning and dizzy. HAHA! Wasn't exactly fun but it was alright. But for YL, it was super dizzy. Lol!

So after the ride, we went on to another ride that we haven't cleared yet.

 Ok this is just headlights that I find very nice and took a photo of and felt really proud of it 'cause I think it's a nice photo. Haha!

Anyway, yes, this ride:

 I forgot what's the name of this ride. But Running Man took this before. Or rather, Jaesuk took this during one of the time Running Man was filming in Everland. And it was hilarious watching him play it 'cause he was really going crazy. HAHA!

But now, we know how he felt. Lol! At first YL didn't want to sit 'cause she was quite dizzy from the previous ride. Lingli knew that she won't like it so she didn't sit the ride. Lol! Then as we were queueing, YL decided to just heck it and go for it, since she was there already. Very bad choice. Lol!

So yes, if you can spot us, which isn't hard ah. You see the only one with light blue pants? That's me. And beside me is Maddy, beside Maddy is Sharon, beside Sharon is Eunice. HAHA! So yes, we were being turned round and round and round for awhile.

For me, the experience actually wasn't that bad. As in it wasn't that exhilarating like the T-Express but it was quite an experience? I actually screamed until I got really tired and shut up. LOL! As in for real. Like I realised I was screaming constantly for awhile but then I got tired and just rest. LOL! It was kinda cool though. 'Cause you really cannot predict which side they will turn. Whether you will be flipping up or down or upside down or what. But ok, it wasn't awesome but I think it was alright. Haha! Like I won't really mind taking it again, but it's not a must to take it again. HAHA!

But yes, anyway, after the ride, YL wanted to die. Lol! Her face was really really terrible and she felt like puking but there wasn't anything to puke out that kinda thing. And the weather started getting colder so that's not very good.

There was still one more ride that we wanted to take before we went off for dinner so Sharon, Eun and I went for it while Lung and Maddy sat at some place and rest. Haha! Yes, Maddy really wanted to die ah. And ok in case you are confused, Maddy is YL, YL is Maddy. I don't know why I keep changing but whatever lar. HAHA!

 So this ride is similar to Battlestar Galactica Cylon. It turns you 360 degrees and goes round and stuffs. LOL! But it's not a comfortable ride though. Like your ears get hit at the side. Lol! That's why Sharon and Eun complained after the ride 'cause the side hit their earrings and stuffs. It's not that bad a ride but it's flipping kind too. Lol! So luck Maddy didn't take this man. If not she confirm puke like crazy. Lol!

We found some random place to settle dinner 'cause we were really quite hungry already. I think YL didn't eat 'cause she really cannot take it. I think she did puke ultimately. HAHA!

But anyway, the night scene in Everland is so pretty too. It's really magical. That's why I really love theme parks and amusment parks and all that. There is just this really happy and magical feeling to it.

Anyway, so we took bus back to Gangnam again! And we went into Krispy Kreme to eat donuts because it's Krispy Kreme. HAHA! At that time, Krispy Kreme wasn't in Singapore yet, so to us, it was a big deal. And yea, I like donuts. Haha!

 

And they were gooddd!!!! And YL ate too 'cause she felt better after sleeping on the bus ride back. Haha! Luckily we had seats back from Everland!

Head back to our guesthouse~ We were all really tired and drained from the day so we didn't do any stupid stuffs and quickly went to bathe and sleep after that.

So here's a peaceful photo of Eunice in which she slept before she bathe (EWWWW) HAHA! But ok lar, we were really amused at how peaceful she looked. Haha! With her Lotso. I think she calls it something else. Fatso? I forgot liao. Heh. You can enlighten me with this again though, Eun. =D
