I realise my grammar and spelling and English basically are quite terrible in most of my posts. LOL! Whenever I reread my post, I will spot some mistakes here and there. But it's ok! The idea is there. That's all that matters. Haha! As long as I myself understand what I wrote lar ah.
Anyway, so this break has been quite hectic. I mean ok, I am going out and enjoying and stuffs but there hasn't been a day when I just relax and slack at home. And I think I won't be getting that until a while later 'cause now I'm just trying to spam as much meet ups as possible. I miss my people lar ah so no choice. Haha! But yea, feels nice to see them and talk to them and all that. Still haven't meet up with many others but yes!! I believe we will all meet up soon!! Time time time.
But yea, I think I really need to stay at home one day to sort out everything. My room, my laptop and many other random stuffs. I feel like I'm quite busy somehow. But not really also? It's weird. I think I signed up for too many things randomly and all over the place that I'm just like going through everyday in a semi daze. Need to wake up. And be on my game.
And yes, results are out. Out since long ago when I was still in Aussie actually. But I told myself to look at the results only after I come back from the trip 'cause I really don't want to ruin my mood for the remaining days of the trip. But ok, the results weren't good. But they weren't as bad as I thought they would be? Like I slightly prepared myself for much worse. So it was somewhat a short relief? Just that it still really sucked. I really need to up my game like crazy. And seriously put in more freaking effort. Be more motivated and I don't know. Just focus and really put in a lot more effort. And stop complaining that it's hard 'cause yes, it's hard but other people can still do it so what makes you not able to do it as well?
Australia! I will post about it later. Haha! Soon enough lar ah! Yea somehow I have many things to do but I'm procrastinating all of them again. I kinda suck lar ah. I know that too. And yes, I will try to type in better English as much as I can. Lol! Or at least not having super glaring grammar and spelling mistakes.

zumbo
Aha not much photos from today though it was a really nice day. I realise, I really love days where you just sit around and talk and not do anything much but just talk and enjoy each other's company. That's all that I need. And do the weirdest stuffs. Haha! And walk around a shopping mall that doesn't have much but somehow we can spend quite long there.
Finally met up with Shaohao today!! Though ok, it really doesn't feel like he actually left Singapore for 8 months. LOL! He still sounds like himself since forever. It's damn hilarious 'cause the way he type on Whatsapp also changed immediately after he reached Singapore. And somehow, time paused for the rest of us while he was gone since we had school and stuffs and now that he's back and we are out of school, time sort of unpaused from Post A Levels again. Aha, seriously can't wait for the next few months until August. So exciting.
Anyway, as usual, Shaohao and Guodong were the first two to reach Bangkit. I was third so I wasn't that bad. And ok lar, today was really just a small last minute lepak meet up. But it was nice. Haha! I really love spontaneous meet ups. And we can do that since we all live a few minutes from each other and can actually walk to each other's houses.
But anyway, today's highlight is the dogs. HAHA! Seriously seriously love dogs. They are so cute and friendly and huggable and nice to just pat and play with them. And freaking hell they are so cute. We went to Shaohao's house 'cause the hawker centre was too hot. LOL! Yes, we are first world. And his house currently has 3 dogs 'cause his aunt put them with his family for awhile.
But omg they are so cute lar!! I can really just play and pat them the whole day. I want a dog. =( I want a Corgi. Corgi you can really just look at them and feel really happy 'cause their legs are just so short and funny looking. Like just looking at them walk to you and you will be happy. HAHA! Nevermind, wait until I have my own house and then I'll have my own dog. I think right now, no one in my family have the time to take care of the dog even if we have one.
And OHYA! Ok I just really love how low maintanance my dear friends are. Seashells are allowed as souvenirs. Heh. Ok lar, the seashells were really pretty so it's worth keeping. Should have taken more but it's alright. Next time, we go there together. Haha! And it's incredible how they can change stuffs that looks perfectly normal to something else. Like ZUMBO. So Swap and I bought a few macaroons back from this famous place in Australia and the person's name was Adrianna Zumbo. So it's perfectly normal name right? I mean yea, you won't really think much strange to it but nope. To them, Zumbo is zhun bo. It's Hokkien for "Correct?" I think? HAHA! Ok, my dialect sucks but something like that ah. And now I cannot really unsee it. Lol! It's so ridiculous but smart also. Lol! No idea how such links can be made.
But ok anyway, OHYA!! I'm excited to use Shaohao's GoPro too. HAHA! And yes, he allows me to borrow from him. =D So yes, if I do really borrow, I will try to make good use of it. But ok, I'm quite sure most likely when I do borrow from him, it would be with him and the rest also. So it's all good. Haha!
Ok lar, today was really just a super nice and chill day. My favourite kind of day. And doing really nonsense stuffs at plaza. So after going to Shaohao's house, Guodong, Minglun, Weiying, Swap and I went to plaza 'cause we had errands. And ohya, we almost wanted to go Teo Heng but we got really lazy. LOL! Yes, we kinda sucks sometimes when laziness override many things but it's okay, we accept who we are. Heh.
Anyway, so Daiso was fun. As always. And I ended up buying a notebook just because it's nice. Yes, Daiso is the best place to look around and not buy anything and just I don't know. We like it there. HAHA! Yes wasting time but WE HAVE TIME TO WASTE! HAHAH That's the best part. When you realise that you have the time to waste just sitting around and chilling. Quite awesome.
And Popular. We actually went in just because we like the smell of new books. Yes, we are not weirdos at all. Wah, I realise, we are really very not normal people. LOL! But ok, it's fun to waste time at Bukit Panjang Plaza. "Cause there are limited shops so you just go in to places just for fun. Lol! Aiya, we really had time to waste so whatever. And went to smell perfumes at the atrium. HAHA!
Then we finally bought food and realised that we actually all didn't have lunch. LOL! And then we went to the arcade. Yes, BPP actually still has an arcade. Strange how it's still not closed but I guess there are still many kids around who love arcade. So Minglun was playing this game that is song tapping thing. I don't know what's the name of it. LOL! But ya, so being such nice friends, Wy, Swap and GD knew that me being me, I would most likely suck at that game and made me play. But it turns out, I really suck at the game. Lol! But eh, at least I never freaked out and give up halfway like they thought I would. Sheesh. But yes, I sucked. LOL!
But best part was when the 4 of us played the game together while Minglun just watched us in wonderment. LOL! It's this 16 grid tap thing. So we all took 4 grids to tap. And guess what? We actually failed. HAHAH! Yes, we kinda sucked. And probably 'cause too many people also quite confusing. But we did succeed in one of the lower levels. Lol! But aiya, teamwork yo. HAHA! Lousy teamwork lar but at least we tried. We are so incredibly lame I can't even.
Anyway, so after that GD went home and we went to the garden plaza to chill for awhile. Rare times when ML appeared. Haha! Talked about the weirdest stuffs like animals incest and children eating hamsters. HAHA! Yes, I have no idea how we actually came to that topic. Aft ML left, we went to EAC because I need to sit somewhere with a backing because I am weak. Sat and chilled for very long and yes, we kinda took the place as our home already lar ah. LOL!
I think this is the first time in a very long time where I actually post about legit activities stuffs instead of rants. HAHA! And overseas trip. AUSTRALIA! Coming soon. 'Cause if I delay further, I would only post about it one year later. Haha! But I guess 'cause today was a really freaking simple day but still damn awesome somehow. I really love days like that. Simple, chilling, talking and I don't know, just damn nice. I guess 'cause really very long never see everyone and very long since we really just sit around and talk properly. So that's kinda awesome. Still so many things to talk about though. Like SH's UK experience. That one will take awhile though. HAHA! 8 months worth of stuffs sia. And also our Australia. Haha! Ok lar, our Australia was just a short but awesome 5 days so we are happy.
And ah, I really can't wait to finally go overseas with them. It's kinda annoying how they know what I'll say 'cause I kinda repeat it so many times but they are still so annoying. But okay fine, still love them regardless.
Something I thought about on some random day. Haha! Can't wait for full strength though. Been so long since we had everyone. Though it will be hard 'cause everyone has very very different schedules but yes, we really ought to and should meet up as a whole. Soon soon! I will do my best to somehow arrange a time where everyone can make it!!

Old friends don't always mean that they are your best friends. But if you are really lucky, they might just be and hell yea, they will be stuck with you for many more years to come since they have already been around for so long. And you are crazy hell blessed that you have them as constants in a life that is always changing. You can so proudly say "We have seen each other from when we were losers to who we are currently." And I'm quite very sure that "currently", we will all achieve much in life. It's pretty amazing how we grow into our each different lives but we will always conjure back together because we just will and we just can and because it's just us.

Since everyone posted about their mothers yesterday, it made me want to do it too. Haha! But here instead 'cause it's too long. LOL!
This is my mummy. She offered to pose for it I think. HAHA! Though ok, it does look quite very lame.
But anyway, yes, she is really my superhero. Somehow, she just knows when I'm feeling down and sad. Even if she's not in Singapore with me. How somehow she can sense it and will call back home just to make sure that we are okay. When I really needed someone to come and rescue me, she'll come. As long as she is free though. Haha! But yea, A Levels results was one that made me realise how she is really the superhero in my life.
And I don't know. She really dotes on us a lot but not in the spoilt way. I know I am crazy fortunate to have such an understanding mother who is crazy positive and full of encouragements. To her, we never need to do the best. To her, we just do our best. As long as she knows that we gave it our best shot, she is proud of us regardless.
And yes, she's one I miss most when I'm overseas. Or when she's overseas. Because yes, mothers give us this comfort that only they can provide. This reassurance that everything is going to be alright no matter what.
And somehow, she has time for everything. I don't even know how she managed to squeeze time for almost everything. Like it amazes me sometimes. Of course, sometimes she ends up making herself very tired but she will really put in her all. Running errands all that. The only thing I can do to help her when I'm free is to be her driver. HAHA! Ok, there are many other ways to help her too, which I do help her sometimes. But being her driver is kinda fun, though tiring 'cause she really does a lot of things in one day. I'm just really amazed at how she has the ability to do so much in just one day. It's kinda awesome.
That's why I think all mothers are superheros. My mother is my superhero. Who will always come to my rescue no matter what. Who really takes care of my sister and I like crazy and I honestly think that her parenting skills are the best to me 'cause both my sister and I grow up to be good people.
It sucks how I can't really type a more proper and nicer post now 'cause I'm crazy tired but yes, cheers to all the mothers. Without them, we won't be around. We won't be who we are today. And I'm just crazy thankful that my mother has been around with me since 1994 and the best superhero any one can ever ask for.
And I still think my mum is really very pretty and seriously doesn't look her age at all. Like HOW SIA. She's happily watching Brilliant Legacy now and I'm happy about that too 'cause Seunggi's show. HAHA! But she is really actually following a drama and watching it from her iPad. First time ever. LOL! Quite cute ah.
And okay, we were terrible people who left her alone in Singapore on Mothers' Day. But at least I came back to Singapore by dinner! Heh. Though sigh omg, I really want to go Australia with my family. And I really believe I can strongly convinced the parents with my photos 'cause it's really crazy awesome. As in the place. And yes, my photos may be crazy awesome too. HAHA! I was looking at them with my mum and yes, convinced the mother already. HAHA! She went to Melbourne before and said that I looked like I had a lot more fun than when she went. So she jealous. Haha! Nah, so she said that yes, we should totally go Australia and road trip. Heh. Can't wait.

Aussie Aussie Aussie
Ahahaha yes I'm blogging using my phone in Australiaaaaa. It's currently 1.27am on 11th May now. And it's my last day here so I'm kinda sad. The last day is always a strange mixed feeling 'cause even though I miss home, I don't want to go back too. HAHA! I will really miss this place. Like Australia is really a very nice place to stay or live or whatever. And I don't know, it's just kinda awesome. But of course, home is where my heart is, hence I kinda miss Singapore too. But it's still really sad to leave this pretty awesome country.
And I think we are here for too short. Should have went for more days ah. But it's okay!!! At least we finished almost most of the more important stuffs. Though it would have been really nice if we could just sit somewhere for a very long time. Though we kinda did for some places. Haha! Ok, I'll be hardworking this time and get right on to blogging about Australia once I'm back. Cause freaking hell it's such an awesome place. Not that Korea wasn't awesome. Sigh, I just really love travelling 'cause it takes your mind off everything else. All the worries and what not. Like even though I had to do some work here and there over here, I was gladly willing to do it since I'm like overseas all. HAHA!
But Okok, I do miss my family and my friends. Though I have an annoying friend with me. HAHA! Yes, we never fight throughout this whole trip so it's cool. Haha! Just some disagreements here and there but since we are just two pple, it's easy to resolve it and we are who we are lar ah. But wow, I think swap and I are pretty cool in that it was really just the two of us exploring Sydney and Melbourne and we survived!! HAHA! Ok, it's really an awesome country. I'm quite very sure I'll come back here.
And I'm quite sure I'll psycho my family to come. Haha! Since they sort of promised me since erm 2004? HAHA! But now that I've already been here before, I think I will be more persuasive with the photo evidences of this beautiful place. It's a total road trip destination and I'm quite sure we can totally pull it off. Oh man, I really can't wait. Need to make sure the father and the mother and the sister are free. And ok fine, and the me is free also. But I really can't wait. HAHA!
I realise whenever I go overseas, I'll always think of wanting to go back to the place with my family and friends. Like bringing people to where I had been before because the places I went were really awesome to me. Like I really like those places and I really want to share this experience with more people because it's really awesome. Lol! But ok, I know Australia is a place that I will confirm visit again. It's just that awesome.
And it's so big. There are still so many places like Gold Coast, Adelaide and Perth. And Tasmanian and Great Barrier Reef. And many many more. The world is so crazy big and I seriously can't wait to explore this awesome great world.

learning to love what you do
Here's another cheesy post just because I read something somewhere. HAHA! Yes, I'm going to sound really cheesy again but I am proud so let me.
"Some people get to do what they love. I'm glad I get to love what I do."
Yes, I'm quite sure I've mentioned this before. But this dear friend of mine made me realise how yes, that's how you should live your life. You may not always get to do what you love. As a job or whatever. Sometimes, we end up having a job that may not be something we love. But we learn to love it. And that will make a world of difference.
So yes, here, I'm going to remind myself to find the beauty in economics. Yes, it isn't easy. It's crazy hard. I may not like it very much now. It is not something I love to do. If given a choice, of course I would so much rather choose something that I love doing instead of this. But yes, life doesn't always work this way. Sometimes, we have to learn to love what we are doing. Initially, we may not like it. But after awhile, if you see things in a different way, you may learn to love it and appreciate it and that will make everything a lot better.
To be true, I know this concept since very long ago because I wrote "Love Chinese" and "Love Physics" on a paper that is still pasted on my study table ever since sec 3 or sec 4. Yes, at that time, I really had trouble with these 2 subjects and kinda hated them. So yea, it's this concept of loving what you are doing instead of hating it and complaining about it and not enjoying every bit of it. Learning to appreciate it, to love it, it's going to make everything so much better. When you see the better side to things.
I still have a lot of things to figure out but I guess things like that take time. You have to plan out your time really well because let's face it, life is short. Time is limited. Time waits for no man.
"We don't determine the conditions and circumstances, but we can all make decisions, and ultimately the decisions make us."
Decisions. We make them. Yes, God leads us to them. But ultimately, you have to decide. God will guide you along but if you just sit there and expect decisions to be made just like that, then why will God help you and lead you along? If you just sit there and expect help, who is going to help you? You need to move forward, make decisions and think for your future. Yes, the future is unpredictable. And somewhere along, things won't go according to plan. Heck, things usually never go according to plan. But we still have to have a direction, a plan no matter what. Something to work towards. And be flexible and spontaneous to the changes. Because yes, changes are bound to happen. Things never go according to plan but that doesn't mean we don't need to plan. We still have to plan but we also need to be flexible. To know that things won't always go the way that you want it to. But that doesn't always mean that it's a bad thing. You have to make changes according to the circumstances given. And yes, you plan so much but always remember that no matter what you plan, if it does go according to plan or if it doesn't, enjoy the process. Because that's always the best part.

Yes, we only have one life to live. For me, I don't believe in reincarnation. So I believe that this is the only life we get to live and we sure hell ought to make the best out of it. It isn't perfect and it won't ever be perfect. But that doesn't mean that it won't be great. And it is your life. You determine your own life and your own life is the best for you. Don't be envious or jealous of other people's life because you are just wasting your time being jealous when your own life can be great too. Instead of being jealous, do something about your own life that you can be happy and thankful for. Always remember to be thankful. Because we have been given the chance to live this life. Live it well. As long as it's your own life, it will be well.
Don't compare it with others because when you compare, you tend to look at the things you don't have instead of the things you have. And even if you see the things you have as compared to others, this doesn't make their lives less awesome. It's just people living their own different life and as long as you are satisfied and thankful and happy with your own life, that's all that matter. Really.
So ok, instead of typing a cheesy post, I type a more inspirational one. Hopefully it is inspirational of some sort. HAHA! But anyway, those sentences that I quote were from Shaohao's Facebook post. He posted many many stuffs during his span of 8 months in UK and I think I've actually read all of it. Haha! Too free. But after reading them, not only do I feel proud of him, I feel like I gain stuffs from his posts too. And yea, it's really quite awesome. He is like some wise old man. Haha! Sigh, going overseas on the same day he is coming back to Singapore. But yep, he will still be around, and the rest will be around also so yes, I really can't freaking wait to see everyone in one place. Though it's bloody annoying to arrange a time where everyone is free. But yes, I will try to make it happen! Even if it's for dinner or what. I really miss our huge big group outings. Where we make freaking lot of noise. Just because.

Was supposed to be on a flight to Sydney at 1.45am tomorrow but it got delayed to 6.35am instead. =(
But anyway, I guess this means more time to pack and research and be in Singapore. HAHA! Though okay, I would so much rather spend more time over there. BUT IT'S OKAY!! As long as I get to go, I'm fine. I am happy. And still damn excited for the next few days. Heh. Stuffs like that happen but that doesn't mean you still can't enjoy the rest of the trip!! So yes, we have to make the very most out of our rather short trip but it will still be awesome.
I realise there is really a lot of things to do after I come back so I'm quite excited for it too. Heh. Ok, I'm just really excited for summer 'cause summer really really starts after I come back from the trip and everyone has ended exams by then and can enjoy summer with me~ And also, people back from overseas!
Super side note, I realise Australia is really a country where you can totally have a road trip. Ok actually, everywhere lar. Lol! Road trips are always way more fun and awesome 'cause you can just spend your own sweet time. It's just not that cheap so yes, need to save up like mad.
But I really can't wait for all the many adventures ahead of me. All the trips to take. Be in it Singapore or overseas. As long as the company is awesome. It's always the company. And yea, I'm glad that I have quite awesome company in my life. Haha!
And yessss I really need to go Australia with my family. 'Cause we will totally road trip like crazy since we have 4 drivers to take turns driving. And the road is so awesome and long and awesome. Haha! I really can't wait. This is when driving license is very important. HAHA! Almost one year since I've gotten my license and honestly still very excited to drive. Lol! Ok, I have yet to drive without my parents or sister around so maybe that's why. But I really can't wait to drive my friends around somehow. It's damn weird. Like usually people won't want to be the chauffeur but I will offer my services gladly.
So yes, can't wait for the many adventures to take and I don't know, just the awesome awesome many things to do from here on. It's going to be one heck of a ride.

Korea Trip Day 8
Saturday 11th May 2013
Ok, this post is actually play cheat since erm, day 8 was really just going to the airport and that's it. HAHA! But it's okay! I want to make it seem like we went Korea for 8 days when it was actually 6 days. LOL! YAAA It's actually very very short. =( We still haven't go many places and Jeju!! So yes, round 2 please. Hehe. We will lar!! In the future!! Can one can one. Or at least round 2 grad trip!! 2017. =D And I honestly think we will. But yes, must save like mad now though.
But ok ANYWAY, so woke up and went to the airport! We wanted to take the subway there but then we gave up 'cause all of us really had too damn lot of things. So we took cab! It was our first time taking cab though. HAHA! Like throughout those 7 days, we didn't take cab at all until the last day. So that's quite cool ah actually. Lol!
And Maddy's lame. HAHA! She realised she almost completely never take photos with her camera since I had DSLR and there were camera phones and Lung also had her camera. So to fill up that emptiness in her camera, she took the most random photos along the way in the cab right. I really was like why she so lame. LOL! But ok lar, have to show her parents something ma. Lol! But still!! Ok, I give you example of one of her brilliant photos. HAHA!
Because all these vehicles were very important contributions to our Korea trip. HAHA! But wah, she is really damn best.

Anyway, I realised we are all not exactly a morning person. I can be sometimes. Sometimes. Very rare but sometimes I'm okay. LOL! But that day I think I really lack sleep and was carrying super lot of stuffs so I got quite cranky. Then Eun was just dazed and confused. HAHA! I remember 'cause I was slightly pek cek with her 'cause she was really half awake and yes, dazed and confused. LOL! But yes, we all didn't have much sleep so I won't blame her!
But anyway, oh yes, I think what made us woke up was 'cause almost all our stuffs were crazy overweight. HAHAHA We were all really over the limit like crazy but wahh I think we were really lucky 'cause we took SQ and the lady at the counter was really very very nice and I think there wasn't a lot of people on the plane so there was enough space to put more weight for the check in luggage!! HENG SIA!! 'Cause if not right, I had to carry on this huge black duffel bag and had to stuff more stuffs into my bag and dismantle my big box of stuffs. LOL! So I just checked-in the black duffel bag plus my luggage plus the box. Yes, I really had the most shit. Lol! I think mine was almost 30kg? Which is overweight by 10kg. I think I really win sia. And by right I have to pay for the overweight but the lady just wave it off for us!! She's really super nice and understanding. And we were really crazy lucky that we went home at an ulu timing. Lol! But eh, the rest also overweight too!! Just ok, not as much as me. LOL! I think only Lung or Sharon never overweight! I think it's Sharon. Lol! Ok, I really forget liao. But haha! We really daebak.
But anyway, we had to queue very long just to check in our luggage. I didn't even realise that time passed so quickly. So we had to rush to the gate to board the plane.
Then OMG, this is the most epic and scary and exciting part. Lol! Like really really a movie scene and woah, it was scary. LOL!
Eunice bought quite a lot of stuffs that were rather expensive and can get back some money for some stuffs I think? I forgot what it was. But she can only do it after we check in our stuffs and go into the other side of the gate. There was quite a long queue getting in 'cause somehow there were a lot of people. But okay, this scene also made me kinda happy 'cause Korean dramas. HAHAHA! (Yes I know, I need to stop all these short term lame happiness but let me be, these short term happiness are exciting.)
ANYWAY, so after we went to the departure hall and stuffs, we still have to travel quite a bit to our gate 'cause Incheon Airport is big and Changi Airport is really small in comparison. So we had to take this train over. But then Eun had to get her that thing. AND THERE WAS A QUEUE TOO. So I think we were left with 15 mins if I'm not wrong? Before the gate closes. So yes, we were really going crazy. At first I was thinking to just heck about the thing that Eun had to queue for but she was saying how she already went through all that trouble so just might as well? But she told us to just go first in case of anything.
So we head towards the gate first. We stood outside the gate and it was crazy nerve-wrecking as you watch the time pass and Eun wasn't in sight. Like we were really damn bloody nervous. 'cause yea, if we missed this flight, we will really die. LOL! And some more our luggage all overweight like siao. So that's another thing to worry about. Like if we missed this plane, our luggage also dunno what will happen to them and stuffs.
As we waited, and time passed, suddenly, we saw some women running towards us and IT WAS EUNICE!!! HAHA!! One of the rare moments when we were really excited to see her. Heh. But wah, it was really a huge relieve as we chiong through the gate and onto our plane. HAHA! Like wah, really super heng sia I swear.
So yes, it's really like some drama or movie or what. LOL! And we really all super high and excited after that. HAHA! Yes, that probably woke all of us up. HAHA! But wah, I swear, we were really super duper lucky!!

And yesssss I'm done with my Korea Trip posts!! After one year. HAHA! Almost one year. 4th May would have been one year. And sigh, I really really want to go back again. Korea is really quite an awesome place to travel to. I'm not being biased or what. Ok maybe slightly biased but I still think it's a beautiful country. It has the nature scenic, it has the fun theme parks, it has the ancient historical cultural side, it has the shopping, it has the good food. It's everything. Wow. Haha! I suddenly realise how it really has everything. Super all rounded. Lol! And it's really not that expensive there. And super easy to navigate around. For Seoul at least. I'm not sure about the other parts of Korea but I think it shouldn't be that bad? But yes, Seoul is really quite awesome. It really has everything. Oh and the celebrities too. HAHA! Though we didn't get to see anyone there, but that's okay! It's just nice to know that you've been to the many place where they film stuffs at. Haha!
And omg, there are still so many places we have yet to go. Korea is really too big. And so many places that are quite awesome. So yes, I'm quite very sure I will go Korea again. It's the kind of places that you will go again in life. Haha! And ya, have to bring my mum there too anyway. Heh.
And yes, I can't ask for a more awesome and crazy bunch to go on this trip with. They are really some of the most incredible people I've ever met and so damn crazy thankful that I've met them. Especially more significant that I met them in AC. They are really friends I know are for life and are just really so great. And I really honestly can't wait for our 2nd grad trip together. It's just really awesome how we all ended up in university after those 2 years in AC and I don't know, I just feel crazy thankful that they are still very much a part of my life and that even though we aren't in the same sch anymore, we are still close as ever. In fact, I think we got closer after we graduate from AC. That's always the most wonderful thing. To be closer after we graduate. And yes, we need a round 2 'cause annoying Felicia Sim Xin Yi didn't join us for Korea so we can't be called the Korea gang 'cause it would become Korean gang plus Feli. LOL! Okok, I know Feli was really very very sad that she couldn't go so yes, we need to go overseas with all 6 of us!! Even if it's to near by places in Southeast Asia! Some island is good enough for us.

Korea Trip Day 7

Anyway, so yes, we head to Dongdaemum first! 'Cause shopping and stuffs and Dongdaemun is known for the wholesale shopping stuffs. So we went there to find it very very disappointing. Lol! Like the stuffs there weren't any cheaper as compared to Hongdae and Myeong-dong area. And I think we either went into the wrong mall or Dongdaemun is supposed to go at night one. LOL! It was so dead in the morning that we all felt really sad somehow. Lol!
So instead, we changed our plans at the last minute and decided to shop more at Myeong-dong instead! Heh. 'Cause we haven't really cover the entire Myeong-dong and there was really a lot more things to do there and it was way more lively than Dongdaemun. Probably Dongdaemun is a place where you go at midnight that kind. And when you want to buy stuffs in huge bulk.
Usual shopping~ I think we went back the orange plastic bag shop again 'cause we really like it there. HAHA! And then walked around. Actually, I think we didn't really buy much? Oh excpet Maddy finally buying her boats! And Eun and Mad went to buy Converse high cuts too!! And I'm not sure if I confused the days. Lol! But yep!
Then we had lunch~~ And we finally had our Jajangmyeon. Heh. After we asked those random tour guide helpers along. Ohya!!! At all those famous tourist destinations like Myeong-dong and Buckon Hanok Village and Insadong, there were these group of people wearing a red hat who are there to help tourists to find places to go and recommendation and all that. They will either approach you or you can approach them and they are really very nice. Got quite a lot of help from them I think! So yes, Korean Tourism not bad ah! Haha!
It doesn't look very appetising, but it tastes so damn good. I really like. And Korean dramas. HAHA! Yes, one of the main reasons why we wanted to try this was 'cause of all the Korean shows we watch. HAHA! That's why Korea is really an awesome place for whoever that watches Korean stuffs. And actually, you don't even have to watch Korean stuffs. It's really a good place to visit. Ok, Seoul ah. It's super easy to navigate around and there are so many helpers around. And most Koreans are usually very friendly people. Except for when they try to get into a crowded subway. They will just push their way in. That's probably the only thing I don't really like ah. Other than that, Seoul is good. Haha! I'm like promoting the country.
ANYWAY, after lunch, we head to Lotte Mart!! To spam last minute shopping. Which erm, killed me. And we spent crazy long there. Like almost the entire afternoon. And yes, I went slightly overboard. I should have taken photo of my trolley though. I like trying to export the whole of Lotte Mart back to SG.
This one is Sharon, YL and Eun's trolley I think! Lung and I know that we are going to spam so we just took our own. LOL! Ok, to think back, I thnk I really went too damn crazy. Yes, I am a sucker when it comes to food. And especially Lotte Mart.
Actually, come to think of it, I really always buy back food. And buy like ten thousand food back from where ever I went. Even China. Yes, I can actually buy back food from China. And Japan also. Ok, Japan makes sense. But wow, I really am crazy when I go supermarkets. That's scary.
HAHAHA We took crazy cui here. After carrying those many boxes. Yes, don't judge my box. I know it's humongous. I need serve self control. But eh, I bought back all those nice food for people k. So that's not that bad. Lol! But yes, I will learn to control better next time. Stop buying so many things back. You will go back Korea one lar. But I really still love Lotte Mart though. It's just awesome and nice and awesome. And huge.
Anyway, so after much struggle, we managed to lug back those boxes back to our guesthouse successfully. HAHA! Lepak in the guesthouse for awhile before we went out to Hongdae again! Our last night at Hongdae~ We decided to do last minute shopping and eat street food and just relax all ah. Haha!

OHYA!! THE BEST BUY EVER. So we went to the random alley place with all the push cart stuffs. Then Maddy wanted to buy a watch and someone could crave her name for her!!! Ok, my story is very short 'cause I'm lazy to describe more. LOL! Just that yes, that man in the photo was the one who crave the stuffs on the watch! At first it was just Maddy buying the watch. But then when we know can crave, and the watches were handmade and it was really very nice, Eun, Sharon and I decided to get one for ourselves also. HAHA! It is really too nice lar. The man super cute!! Like a friendly giant bear. Haha! And he craved Maddy's face at first. HAHA! On her watch. Then when it's our turn, he told us he can crave other stuffs also. So Sharon got a snowman. Eun erm, LOL! I forgot what she got, I think she asked to crave her face also? HAHA! If I'm not wrong ah. Then I crave giraffe~ 'Cause I don't know I like ah. Lol!
Can't really see very clearly but yes, here's the craving. I think most people saw it before 'cause I think I would have show off it when I first wear it. LOL!
SUPER CHIO RIGHT THE WATCH!! Even though it wasn't very cheap, I think it was totally worth the money. And the man is really very very nice! At first we didn't know. Like we thought it was some ordinary shop selling watch. But then we realised that shop that we went to is linked to another watch cart that craves stuffs on the watch! It wasn't at that same alley but it was nearby so we were really excited when we found out.
That's why we took photo with him 'cause we were really happy. HAHA! And I was thinking of getting this for other people if I had extra money left but we didn't have the chance to go back. =( Ok lar, it was last night already after all. Lol! But it's ok!! I will remember him and where we found him. HAHA! Next time next time. But wah, it's really damn cool.
I realise, our trip was so awesome. We found so many things unintentionally. We really travel in a way that isn't how most people travel. And it's so freaking awesome. That's why I really love free and easy. And you plan your own itineraries and book your own hotel and flights and everything. It's just way more fun like that. You can choose what you want to do instead of having others choose it for you. And I don't know, it's more exciting and you get to discover more things that on normal tour groups, you won't get to discover them. And you can change your schedule super flexibly. Like if you feel like staying at a place longer, just stay. If you think that that place isn't worth staying longer, just go. IT'S SO AWESOME. OMG, I really genuinely love travelling. Lol! I think I have an illness. But it's a good illness, except for the fact that it may cost me a lot of money but it's okay!! Travelling is really worth spending money for.
Anyway, so more food. HAHA!
Anyway, so after shopping, we went back to put our stuffs and slack around the room before we went for Sauna!!

Ok, sauna was a hilarious experience. And super unexpected. And we were really noobies. LOL! Yea, we didn't know that you must go completely naked in the sauna room I think? I also don't know. We were very confused by everything. So yes, we learned to research such stuffs more before we actually go for it and not get a shock of your life. HAHA!
We went into some heater room for awhile though. And chased a couple out. HAHAHA! Oops. Sorry lar, we paid for something that we didn't want to go so we had to make full use of the other stuffs that we didn't mind going for.

I know, my hair is really all over the place. It's really bed hair. But whatever lar, I was at a sauna so it's okay to look like I just woke up. HAHA!
And Sharon teaching me how to bend my feet. I STILL FIND IT VERY FREAKISH THAT SHARON CAN BEND HER FEET UNTIL LIKE THAT. It's freaky. I don't think it's me being unflexible. It's freaky. LOL!
AHHH another favourite lady. This one like really home. She's at home. She really didn't want to leave the place and wanted to sleep when we all wanted to go back to our guesthouse. LOL! Such weird. Btw, it's Maddy aka YL aka Yuk Ling aka weirdo.
OHYA! We bought eggs. HAHA! To crack it with our head. LOL! And we really did. Just that not exactly successfully. I think I managed to do it? I forgot. But I just remember the feeling was really painful. Lol! Like you won't expect cooked eggs to be so hard but it really is. And you can feel like slight concussion kinda thing. Lol! But it's kinda fun. Ok, maybe I'm screwed up. But it wasn't exactly a bad feeling when you hit a cooked egg on your head. Maybe my skull is just really strong. Or skin is thick. Thick skin. I think I have that. Literally and non-literally. And we HTHT also~ Though I forgot what we talked about but yea it was nice. HAHA! Aiya, HTHT usually can't go wrong.
Anyway, so after our weird Sauna experience, we went back to our guesthouse~ We all felt tired but sad but weird that it was our last night. LOL! Like we kinda miss Singapore, but then we really don't want to leave Seoul. And we had been staying at the same guesthouse for the past few days so it was getting very comfortable. Ok, it was already comfortable by the 7th day. LOL! But yaaa, the going home part is always the most confusing part.
And then us trying to stuffs everything into our lugguage. I had crazy trouble 'cause I really bought super crazy load of stuffs. I think about 1/3 wasn't even my stuffs. LOL! So yes, I was really trying my best. But oh well.
We had our last ramen too! I think! We never take photos ah but I'm quite sure we did? Lol! Last night leh! Must eat! Heh. And of course, feeling all sad. HAHA! But I think the last night was really mostly trying to stuff everything into our lugguage. That was my biggest memory 'cause ok, I really had crazy trouble. Like my carry on bag was max out also. So yep, it was fun. HAHA!

Anyway, so yes, we head to Dongdaemum first! 'Cause shopping and stuffs and Dongdaemun is known for the wholesale shopping stuffs. So we went there to find it very very disappointing. Lol! Like the stuffs there weren't any cheaper as compared to Hongdae and Myeong-dong area. And I think we either went into the wrong mall or Dongdaemun is supposed to go at night one. LOL! It was so dead in the morning that we all felt really sad somehow. Lol!
So instead, we changed our plans at the last minute and decided to shop more at Myeong-dong instead! Heh. 'Cause we haven't really cover the entire Myeong-dong and there was really a lot more things to do there and it was way more lively than Dongdaemun. Probably Dongdaemun is a place where you go at midnight that kind. And when you want to buy stuffs in huge bulk.
Usual shopping~ I think we went back the orange plastic bag shop again 'cause we really like it there. HAHA! And then walked around. Actually, I think we didn't really buy much? Oh excpet Maddy finally buying her boats! And Eun and Mad went to buy Converse high cuts too!! And I'm not sure if I confused the days. Lol! But yep!
Then we had lunch~~ And we finally had our Jajangmyeon. Heh. After we asked those random tour guide helpers along. Ohya!!! At all those famous tourist destinations like Myeong-dong and Buckon Hanok Village and Insadong, there were these group of people wearing a red hat who are there to help tourists to find places to go and recommendation and all that. They will either approach you or you can approach them and they are really very nice. Got quite a lot of help from them I think! So yes, Korean Tourism not bad ah! Haha!
ANYWAY, after lunch, we head to Lotte Mart!! To spam last minute shopping. Which erm, killed me. And we spent crazy long there. Like almost the entire afternoon. And yes, I went slightly overboard. I should have taken photo of my trolley though. I like trying to export the whole of Lotte Mart back to SG.
Actually, come to think of it, I really always buy back food. And buy like ten thousand food back from where ever I went. Even China. Yes, I can actually buy back food from China. And Japan also. Ok, Japan makes sense. But wow, I really am crazy when I go supermarkets. That's scary.
HAHAHA We took crazy cui here. After carrying those many boxes. Yes, don't judge my box. I know it's humongous. I need serve self control. But eh, I bought back all those nice food for people k. So that's not that bad. Lol! But yes, I will learn to control better next time. Stop buying so many things back. You will go back Korea one lar. But I really still love Lotte Mart though. It's just awesome and nice and awesome. And huge.
Anyway, so after much struggle, we managed to lug back those boxes back to our guesthouse successfully. HAHA! Lepak in the guesthouse for awhile before we went out to Hongdae again! Our last night at Hongdae~ We decided to do last minute shopping and eat street food and just relax all ah. Haha!
OHYA!! THE BEST BUY EVER. So we went to the random alley place with all the push cart stuffs. Then Maddy wanted to buy a watch and someone could crave her name for her!!! Ok, my story is very short 'cause I'm lazy to describe more. LOL! Just that yes, that man in the photo was the one who crave the stuffs on the watch! At first it was just Maddy buying the watch. But then when we know can crave, and the watches were handmade and it was really very nice, Eun, Sharon and I decided to get one for ourselves also. HAHA! It is really too nice lar. The man super cute!! Like a friendly giant bear. Haha! And he craved Maddy's face at first. HAHA! On her watch. Then when it's our turn, he told us he can crave other stuffs also. So Sharon got a snowman. Eun erm, LOL! I forgot what she got, I think she asked to crave her face also? HAHA! If I'm not wrong ah. Then I crave giraffe~ 'Cause I don't know I like ah. Lol!
That's why we took photo with him 'cause we were really happy. HAHA! And I was thinking of getting this for other people if I had extra money left but we didn't have the chance to go back. =( Ok lar, it was last night already after all. Lol! But it's ok!! I will remember him and where we found him. HAHA! Next time next time. But wah, it's really damn cool.
I realise, our trip was so awesome. We found so many things unintentionally. We really travel in a way that isn't how most people travel. And it's so freaking awesome. That's why I really love free and easy. And you plan your own itineraries and book your own hotel and flights and everything. It's just way more fun like that. You can choose what you want to do instead of having others choose it for you. And I don't know, it's more exciting and you get to discover more things that on normal tour groups, you won't get to discover them. And you can change your schedule super flexibly. Like if you feel like staying at a place longer, just stay. If you think that that place isn't worth staying longer, just go. IT'S SO AWESOME. OMG, I really genuinely love travelling. Lol! I think I have an illness. But it's a good illness, except for the fact that it may cost me a lot of money but it's okay!! Travelling is really worth spending money for.
Anyway, so more food. HAHA!

Ok, sauna was a hilarious experience. And super unexpected. And we were really noobies. LOL! Yea, we didn't know that you must go completely naked in the sauna room I think? I also don't know. We were very confused by everything. So yes, we learned to research such stuffs more before we actually go for it and not get a shock of your life. HAHA!
We went into some heater room for awhile though. And chased a couple out. HAHAHA! Oops. Sorry lar, we paid for something that we didn't want to go so we had to make full use of the other stuffs that we didn't mind going for.
