Haha! Was looking through some documents and found my Photog Exco Application. And yep, this sentence that I typed out kinda struck me. Strange how 2 years can do so much. 2 years ago, I wanted to be a photographer. Now, I still want to be but it's more of a dream that I know won't really happen. I guess what happened in those 2 years was me realising that I don't actually love photography so much to the point where I will want to make it a career. And I kinda only like to take photos of my family and friends. HAHA! Ok lar, I like to take people and scenery I guess. But yea lar, I don't love photography so much to the point where I want it for my career.

So yea 2 years to get me to be more practical and to realise that life isn't as easy as it is. Lol! But wow, time really flies huh. More than 2 years since I was chosen to be in photog exco. I am still extremely thankful to the seniors for seeing potential in me to be part of the exco. I just hope that we still did do a good job as excos. Haha! Ok lar, I think and believe that we did. =D In very small ways but it's ok. Haha!

And yep, my future career path I guess I shouldn't keep worrying too much about it. Ok, I'm not worrying actually. Right now, I just want to survive the first sem of uni. I can feel the heat coming soon and I don't like it. =\ But I need to get used to it even though I don't want to. I'm already in it already so might as well do the most out of it. And I really have to because this isn't something that I got easily.

Ah, I can type so much random nonsense on my blog but I take so long to type out stuffs for OCSP forms. Lol! But wah, SMU really got a lot of overseas opportunities. Haha! I guess that's really one of the great things about SMU. And I need to remember how to write essays again. Lol! Though I realise econs is really very much math-based. Which I am not complaining except when you can't bloody get the probabilities shit. (YES THEY ARE BACK. AND I STILL HATE THEM.) But ok lar, when you get it, it feels good. HAHA! That is only when you get it. Otherwise you just want to kill it. But yep! Maths is a good module to ease into uni. Haha! It's technically the same stuffs again just a bit more in depth and the stuffs that teachers used to say "You will only need to know if you take maths at university level." Yep, those stuffs that you used to ignore, you can't ignore now. =\

new school

I realise I haven't been posting about my uni life yet. Haha! Or rather, the 2 uni camps I went to. Quite lazy to post abou them 'cause they are camps which are long. HAHA! As seen from my lack of posting on Korean Trip and many other stuffs. =D

But yes, I'll just summarise lar. Haha!

My first camp was Freshemen Teambuilding Camp (FTB)!! We went all the way to Sariumbun Scouts Camp for it. Haha! Damn hiong right? But yes, because our school really lack campus facilities to hold so many people in a place.

Anyway so the theme of the camp was HARRY POTTER!! Yea I kinda love it 'cause I am a Harry Potter fan. Heh. So it's really quite cool when they make all the games linked to Harry Potter. =D I'm in Slytherin!! Though yea, I wanted to be in the rest. Haha! But ok lar, clan only. Haha!

And yes, we really slept in tents for 2 nights. HAHA! Like for real man. At first we wanted to go somewhere else to sleep but we got chased out. =\

My groupmates are very nice!! =D 'Cause we can name our own group names, we came up with Buttercup at first. LOL! As in the Powerpuff girls Buttercup. HAHA! Because she's green. Lol! Then we realised it's hard to draw Buttercup so we changed it to Shrek. Haha! And our cheer damn cute lar. The cheer that some of them came up with on the day itself. It's super original and creative. =D Very hard to type out but it's really cute lar. Haha!

Last day of camp! We didn't get to take a lot of photos 'cause our phones weren't with us. HAHA! Ok lar, usually you won't take so much photos in camp also I guess? Haha! But yep!! They are really very nice people and I'm quite happy that they are the first friends I made in SMU! Haha! I like it that we wil try our best to win and stuffs but if we never, we will be good sport about it and won't blame anyone. Haha! I guess we are all mature enough already lar. Won't let winning for such stuffs make things ugly. Lol!

My next camp was Oikos Camp!! Which is econs faculty camp. Haha! Yes, I was lazy to go for more camps so I just joined 2. Although I realise I shouldn't have been lazy but ok lar. I think it's fine. Haha! I wanted to join many camps at first but then you just got lazy. And you realise how little time you have to lepak before school starts.

Anyway, so yep! My clan is Apache!! Haha! Red one. So I like 'cause I have red shirts. =D Haha! My group is Diablo! I forgot how to pronounce it already though. Lol! But yep!! My group is quite awesome lar. Haha! And the camp was really packed with activities so there weren't really much slacking time. Good and bad I guess? 'Cause we don't really have much time where we can sit down and talk and stuffs. But the activities were really fun lar. Haha!

First day we had dirty games which are really truly horribly dirty. Like the gross dirty kind. I thought it'll be the water games kind. I like the water games kind more. =( Then after that we had Food Trail! Which was nice also 'cause you get to eat food and stuffs. Haha! And discovering all the nice food around school. Which I realise it's a lot. Haha! Ok lar, honestly, my school location is very good. Haha! Just that it can be quite pricy. =\

Then at night we had Fright Night!! Ok, ah fright night must describe. Lol! It was really good though. 'Cause I was really scared. Haha! And yes, the first time I shouted so much fword out loud ever. I said the fword out louf before lar. But then I never say it so much at one time before. Lol! So yes, I was really scared 'cause I can't really scream and the only word that came in my head was that. HAHA! Quite funny lar. But luckily the 3 other people I went with weren't scared. So I was the only one scared actually. HAHA! But they were very nice lar. Haha! The formation is a guy will go in then follow by girl and another girl then the end is  guy. And we stick to that formation. HAHA! And there was a lot of crawling to do. So at the end of it, my knees were really brusied 'cause I really just crawl and heck. Haha! And bloody hell lar. Their make up damn scary. Clowns sia. CLOWNS ARE ALWAYS SCARY. And when they grab your legs. Damn creepy lar. But ok after awhile, I got used to it (somewhat) and wasn't as scared. And I realise you just have to keep talking to the ghosts to be less scared. Haha! But overall, it was really a good fright night. HAHA!

Second day we had Amazing Race! Though it's just around school and a little bit outside of school like the town area. Haha! So it's really convenint. =D There's this bucket list thing where you can do some stuffs to get extra points. Haha! It's quite cute. Like dancing a tribal dance across the road. =D And jump shots and stuffs. So it's really not bad. =D AND WE GET TO PLAY LASER TAG!! It's damn fun lar. Just that really anyhow shoot. Haha! And we played it with lights so not as fun but it's my first time anyway. I want to go play again though. Like it's really quite fun but expensive though. But still fun. HAHA!

So I think Amazing Race took up almost the whole day. At night we had Finale Night! All the performances and stuffs. Haha!

My group!! Haha! They are really very fun and nice people and my facis are very very nice also. Haha! Like they will really take care of us and help us in whatever stuffs. Very sweet people. =)

At night, after the finale night, we played some games and drink and talked! =D

Final day was Sentosa!! We were all very tired from the previous day though 'cause we slept at 4am and had to wake up at 8am. Haha! But wahh, sleeping at the seminar rooms is quite nice. =D Quite comfortable. =D

Sentosa!!! Quite fun ba!! But super tiring and draining. Haha! And must really just do one that kinda thing? Like roll in the sand and playing scissors paper stone. That one can kill 'cause if you lose, you have to roll again. Lol! Then there's captain ball. And this relay thing which is quite cool but super crazy tiring. All of us were pretty much drained out already.

My group plus our clan head!! Haha! Our clan head like almost always join our group. But yep, he's quite funny lar. And very nice also. But yep! Really glad to know that these people will be my faculty mates!! =D

So yep!!! Summary that isn't very summary also. LOL! But yep! Really enjoyed my 2 camps ba! Beginning of my university life. HAHA! So weird to say university life all. It used to be something so far away.

Oh well yes!! 4 years 4 years! Haha! Ok lar. I think it will really be fine. I've gone through 12 years of formal education already so another 4 years of studying should be alright.

Met up with Jeslynn and Nisa for lunch at Vivo! I was late. =\ BUT EHHH, I really didn't want to. Lol! I had to repack my bag 'cause Feli and Swe suddenly cannot help us look after our bags. Haha! Yes, we got very nice friends who didn't mind helping us look after our bags while we go for the Colour Run but then they weren't free in the evening. They thought Colour Run in the aftnoon. Lol! Ok, I thought Colour Run in the aftnoon also. Haha!

Anyway, so I didn't eat 'cause I wasn't hungry which was stupid 'cause I was damn hungry after the run. Ok walk. We didn't run lar. Lol! We only run when we were approaching the colour zones and then we walked the rest of it. Haha!

Went up to Daiso to shop for nonsense stuffs to wear. =D Daiso is really gem sia. Really got A LOT of nonsense things. We saw bunny ears. HAHA! And we wanted shade at first but they were kinda too ugly.

OHYA!! Our original idea was to dress up as teleltubbies since there is 4 of us. LOL! Jeslynn's and Nisa's brilliant idea. But then we got lazy. Haha! But wah, it will be damn cool lar. Haha! And the teletubbies fit all of us. =D Next time lar. Haha!

Anyway, so we were happily shopping at Daiso and we found WATER GUNS!! Ok yes, we were really very happy when we found it. HAHA! $2 for water guns hor. It's so worth. =D Jordan came after awhile and he rejected the bunny ears. Tsk. But ok, somehow he found the pirate hats. HAHA! Which ok, it's way cooler than the bunny ears. And we were the only ones with pirate hats that day also~~ Haha! And it's Sentosa so it kinda fits the theme. HAHA!

Changed into our Colour Run shirts!! That stupid Nisa started playing with the water gun inside the toilet. Tsk. Childish sia. Lol! But ok, we got scolded by Jordan 'cause he could hear us taking our own time inside the toilet. Haha!

While we are all white and clean. I realise sigh, I really have very small eyes. Lol! But it's ok, I still like it. Haha!

HAHA! This is very gay but it's ok~ We wanted to make some cooler formation one but then we weren't wearing our writs tag on the same arm. So star or something like star it is. Haha!

Took the monorail in~ The people there al very cute. "Enjoy your run!!" Haha! Ok lar, it's really very happy atmosphere the whole day. Haha! It's a fun run anyway. Ohya! Jeslynn's shoes were coming apart, so we went down to buy superglue before going on the monorail. Haha! Then we found some place at Sentosa for her to paste them. And do all the random stuffs like pasting our tattoo. Which I didn't get to because I forgot to take out the plastic cover first. Yes, very incompetent. =\ And we were still saying that Jordan sucked for moving his hand and ruining the tattoo.

I was very very very amused at how the front camera of iPhone 5 will flip the photo for you by itself and so you can see the words as THE COLOUR RUN instead of the mirror image. HAHA! Ok yes, I suck but I was really happy because I have a new phone and it's good and awesome and I love it. AND BROWN HAIR.

Walked quite far before we found the lockers! We were quite lucky lar. There was only one locker left when we were there. And it's the big one somemore so can stuffs all our stuffs inside. =D

So yes, the childish us started playing with our water guns already. Lol! Nisa and Jordan lar. The 2 horrible ones. Then Jeslynn's gun spoiled!! Damn sad 'cause haven't even start yet. Lol! But yea, we all tried to fix it. Nisa and Jordan were the better ones ar. Physics. HAHA! But it's really gone. Lucky it's only 2 bucks. But maybe that's why it spoiled so fast. Haha!

Went to find Haziq!!! And yes, we started shooting him with water upon seeing him. When you see his face, you just have the strong urge to shoot him with the water gun. Lol! It's his face lar.

I don't know why Haziq must do this but yes, he must. And it's our only photo with him 'cause we couldn't find him afterwards. Haha! And my face was like that because that Nisa was shooting water at me while taking the photo.

OHYA!!! OMG THIS ONE MUST SAY. Lol! A group of hot angmoh girls came up to us to take photos with us!!!! Damn cool!! But the loser us were all stun that we forgot to use our phones to take photo with them. =( So only they have a photo with us but we don't have a photo with them. =( Yes lar, we really suck. But there was 4 of us so ok, we all really suck. Lol! First time people want to take photo with us ok!!! And somemore they are angmoh girls. HAHA! Damn wasted. We wanted to find them agian to take photos but we didn't mange to see them again. Ohya! I think we saw them once. They also recognised us. But ok, we were stun again. Haha! Shy lar shy. BUT IT'S SO COOL THAT THEY CAME UP TO US TO TAKE PHOTOS. Haha! We pops. =D

Ok so anyway, we walked to the start line. There were a lot of people actually 'cause by the time we went, we were wave 8 or 9 already. I forgot. But I realise our identity quite cool 'cause we were the only pirates around. Hehe.

We tried running awhile but we realised the pirate hat will fall. Lol! For the girls. I think because we tie our hair up. Haha! So we walked. Until we saw the colours!! First K was purple/pink. =D

PRETTY RIGHT!! Doesn't feel like we're in Singapore. Haha! I think because of the trees.

So how Colour Run works is that every 1K, there will be a colour zone where all the powder will start flying. Lol! Ok they are actually corn flour with some colourings I guess? But too much of it can make it hard to breathe. Lol! We all don't have asthma but we found it quite hard to breathe at some parts already so those with asthma will feel worse lar huh. But ok, it's still very fun. Haha!

Ohya! We put our handphones in some plastic cover thing so that we could still take photos without dirtying our phones. Smart right!! Haha!

Okok, anyway, PURPLE/ PINK

 It's honestly a very pretty colour. Haha! I like lar. =D

Had some water stop as we continued walking then next colour was BLUE.

I like the blue too. =D But then it was really quite uncomfortable to breathe there for awhile with all the corn flour and stuffs. So we got out of there quickly. Haha!

Saw this water foundatain place and we went to refill our water guns. HAHA! We are horrible lar but whatever. Haha! And yep! We shoot water at random people when they saw us. Haha! Quite funny lar. They will be "Eh!! Pirates!!" And then water on them. Haha! YESS SO buying water gun wasn't childish. =D

And people came and take my water gun. Tsk tsk. Nisa was helping me take my water gun then this girl from some other country, I couldn't tell where she was from, talked to Nisa and wanted the water gun. Tsk. Ok lar, at that moment, we just whatever lar. Okok give you. But yea, she was quite annoying. Haha! But ok lar, it's really $2 only. Haha! We should have given them the spoiled one though. HAHA!

So next colour was YELLOW~

 HAHA! They look damn cute. Rolling on the floor all. I rolled too after them. Haha! They didn't have enough powder so we just roll on the floor. Lol! It's damn funny lar. But many peopel were rolling too so it's ok. Haha!

So we were left with 2 more K! =D Then there was this stretch of road that is two sides one. Like one side going towards the 4th K and the other side is coming from the 4th K. So you can see what's the colour at the 4th K. Haha! And we saw Haziq and his friends!! And it's fun 'cause we just high-fi with the people on the other side. Lol! And I think we saw the angmoh girls who took photo with us there! But yes, we shy. HAHA!

But we were smarter!! Another 2 girls came up to us to take photos and we took photo with them as well. Haha!

The girl is bloody red. Haha! But ok, they were really quite fun pple. Haha! Ok lar, people who go for Colour Run are fun and enthu people. If not why will they go right? Haha!

4th K!! RED~

Jeslynn and I avoided this 'cause we know that it will turn out very scary if we take too much red. HAHA! So we got some red and stood one side while Nisa and Jordan went on to COLLECT flour. They really use the pirate hats to collect the flour. Such strange friends. Haha!

Haha! The 2 of them got really red. And Jeslynn like kana bashed up. And I've got some weird lipstick stain. LOL

PIRATES. Haha! Yes we saw this pirate thing at the beach there. I think it's Palawan beach? Anyway, so we decided to take a photo with a fellow pirate. HAHA!

Walked towards the finishing line! High-fived with people until I got lazy to high five. Haha! You really just extend your hands out and people will just hit it. Haha! But ok lar, it's really quite fun. Haha! All the sporting pple. =D

At the finishing line!! WE MADE IT. HAHA! Ok lar, 5k honestly nothing. Confirm got walk longer than 5K before. Run then different lar. Haha! So yes, I really still want to try a proper marathon. Lol! Need to up my fitness level first though.

Had bananas and 100plus given to us when we finished~ Found some random place to sit and eat. We were tired even though we really just walk. Haha! Took photos and went to this place where they play music and stuffs. Haha! Ohya! We were given powders to throw around too. =D So we jumped around and throw for awhile before we went off. Haha!

 MY HAT! haha! We threw away our hats in the end 'cause we figured that we will just bring it home to collect dust. Haha! But quite sad though. =( The hat quite nice. Haha! But ok lar, we really won't use it ever again.

Took some more photos because it wasn't enough. LOL! Ok lar. We felt like taking more photos. If I wasn't lazy, I could have bring along my DSLR. Haha! but yes, I was lazy. =D But iPhone 5 is good enough too. HAHA!

CHIOBU! HAHA! I really got shocked bu myself when I first saw myself from my inner camera. Haha! And then I sent this photo to my friends to scare them. Lol! Pretty right! Haha! But it really looks more bloody than colourful. LOL!

Decided to finally go back to our lockers and wash up and have dinner~ Had ice cream as we walked back because there was this place selling ice cream. HAH! It wasn't that good though. Lol!

So we were at our lockers then I was taking photo of the back of Nisa's tshirt when this Russian(Or at least I think he is Russian) guy came up to me and asked me what am I taking photo of. LOL! Scary sia. Like super random. And we suspect he is a bit drunk/high 'cause he was holding a beer. Haha! Or ok, maybe he is really just friendly. Then he said he want to take a photo with Nisa. HAHA! Nisa pops ah. =D

And he asked me to send him the photo. Haha! So emailed him. It's damn funny lar. Like super random. And he was wearing my pirate hat. Haha! Ok lar, I think he is really friendly and probably harmless. Haha!

Went to Habour Front Macs for dinner! I really felt like sleeping while eating. Like it's a chore to finish up my dinner. Lol! Realy drained lar somehow. All that walking and running and jumping. Haha! But yes, it was good!! As in colour run. Haha!

Anyway, yessss Colour Run was really fun. =D So glad that I went with these awesome crazy 3 pple. Super worth the money even though it's actually really quite ex. But yes we had fun so it's ok~ And that we decided to dress up instead of just going for it. Next year we can go as teletubbies. HAHA!

some things just won't change

THESE GIRLS. Plus Maddy (This annoying grumpy short girl). First week of school without them after having them in my class for 2 years. =( Even though I still have Feli and Lung in some of my classes, it's very different somehow. No one to talk rubbish to when we got bored of the lecture. Drawing on each others paper. Playing random games like BINGO because we were horrible students. HAHA! Thinking back, I think we were really horrible students during lectures and we really didn't pay attention most of the time. Haha! Until J2 when we realised that we should really stop playing and start mugging. And mugging with them!!! Ahh. They are really important people in those 2 years of JC. And even though Feli and Sharon weren't in most of the same classes as us, they are important during breaks and to help us when we don't know how to do math. HAHA!

And yes, I miss Korea with them too. =( Last night, we suddenly start to spam Korea stuffs. I think I started it. LOL! But wah, I was looking through the photos I took using my phone in Korea and I really miss it. =\ travelling and all. I realise I can never get sick of travelling. Like just throw me in a foreign land and I will like it somehow. LOL! Ok lar, I will still miss SG and be home sick all but I really like travelling. Haha!

Anyway, this post is sort of dedicated to this crazy stalker too. HAHA!

  

Super weird friend who seems to be on this blog 24/7, with the refresh button on standby. HAHA! Ok lar, I am kinda touched to know that no matter what nonsense I post, there will always be this lame friend here who will read them. =D And yes, this stupid girl who probably miss disturbing me. And probably miss having someone who will agree with her subconsciously and listens to whatever thing she tells me to do, even though I'll regret it after doing it. Haha! And how we really cannot sit together during lessons 'cause we just won't listen in class and end up either talking or doing stupid shit like taking photos using Maddy's iPod as shown in the photo above. HAHA! This photo is especially funny 'cause she got caught by Ms Lye. Somehow. LOL! I realise that I really almost always never get caught doing other stuffs in class. Heh. Blessed with a super goody two-shoes face. =D

Anyhow, yes, thank you for feeling strangely happy yesterday night. HAHA! You are damn weird but I embrace this weirdness of you. =D

And meeting them last Tuesday to celebrate Lingli's birthday felt really nice. Haha! Even though I was half there after my first mind blowing Stats lesson. And lol! This Lung also another funny one. Also another resident stalker of my blog. Haha! But ya, she really was surprised by us. Heh. So not bad! Quite successful some what. =D But yes, we can still have dinner together after lesson every Tuesday! =D Tuesday dinner buddy. Haha! 

Ahhhh I guess this always happens right? When you enter a new environment, a new place, you just miss the previous place you came from. Or maybe I'm just a sucker. Haha! But yes, I really miss going to school. As in AC. Something I thought I won't miss. Haha! But yea, I actually miss going to AC. Putting on our pretty uniform. =D Haha! Yes!! So happy that our uniform is so nice actually. Haha! Like all the photos just looks nice somehow even if we are in uniforms. And you class part because you want to and not because you have to. Lol! Sigh. It's something I have to get used to it ba! 

But yep! So far I've meet quite nice people in school. Haha! And I have at least one friend in all my classes. OMG. I realise Sim is in 2 of my classes. Lol! We are too gay. Ok, one is pre-assigned so we didn't choose it and the other one we choose it so ok. But still quite gay ar. We really stuck for life. Everyone's reaction is the same when I tell them that we pre-assigned same class. They really all just sigh. LOL! Like I'm not even kidding. And that we should just get married already. Haha! Push Sweden out of the picture. =D And go New Zealand because they just legalised homosexual marriage, according to Weiying. Haha!

Life's going to start getting hectic and annoying again and I can feel it. And I really don't like it. =\ Like to know that those 9months of break is really just going to be gone. =( And meet ups. It's really going to get harder to meet up and it kinda sucks. =\ Now that the girls are officially in uni, the guys in NS, some girls and guys in poly. Just everyone all over. But yea lar, I know that whoever that still meets up, they will be there for a long time. I think this is the period where people really slowly come and go? How some people you will meet more often, and some people you will just see once or twice in a year. 365days in a year. Seems a lot but actually very little.

But yep, some things won't change even if everything changes. And to know that you have some constants in your life, you know that you are really lucky and blessed with them. Haha! Not saying family because they are honestly the true constants. Haha! That one is really something you can't change. =D But yes, I love my family too.

Ohya, my sister. =\ Quite worried about her 'cause she was saying quite sad stuffs that one random day. But ok, something I know about my sister is that she will do well in life. Haha! As in I know it's not a given but I know she will. Like eventually, even if it's not now. Because yes, she is my sister. She really knows how to get things and do things? She has always been the leader since young. Probably because she is the oldest of our generation for both my dad's and mum's family. Haha! But yea, to be the one setting an example for the rest of us to follow, she did a pretty good job. I really hope she'll find her way soon though. It's scary to see my sister lost because I rely on her for direction. And yes, I know I shouldn't rely so much on her sometimes too. And yes, I will really work hard these 4 years in SMU and really gain something from these 4 years. Because yes, my placing here in SMU is really God's gift to me. So I need to work extra hard to make sure that He isn't wrong in giving me this gift.

Balancing everything. Studies, CCAs, family, friends, LIFE. Somehow, we just have to find a balance in all of it I guess? Hopefully I can? 4 years man. Feels so long. But yea, I know it will pass really quickly too. And then after the 4 years, I know that I will much rather continue on studying instead of going to the outside world and work. Gah. Ok, I think I need to stop all this future thinking. Right now, I just need to get through things one step at a time. 

Alright! Somehow this became a long post. Lol! I still haven't post about a lot of things yet. =\ Sigh. It will only just keep piling up. Oh well. We'll see how. Haha!

Suddenly surge of wanting to post. Haha!

I'm really thankful that I still have you as my friend. And a considerably good friend. And ah, I realise how I'm really freaking lucky actually. Lol! I was reading back some angry posts that I typed but was never posted and I realise how I'm so freaking glad how things turned out in the end. How yes, I still have a friend. HAHA! Like after all that happened. Even though it's not much but yea. And I guess this is honestly enough. More than enough actually. I could have so easily lose a friend but I didn't. And somehow we're not just friends but rather good friends. Lol! I guess I really just have to keep remembering how things could have been a lot more worse than it is now. And yea, I'm honestly very very lucky. And that it's not just me holding on to the friendship. It could have been just me holding on but it is somewhat mutual. That our friendship matters.

Ok I'm just happy suddenly. HAHA! Friends, good friends, are honestly hard to come by but once they come, they are often friendships for a long time. And you will feel this blessed feeling at how amazing it is and how simple it is. And how it just works. How you can don't see each other often but it's all fine. All good. All amazing. All wonderful. Haha!

first day of the next 4 years

Quick post before I sleep! So yep! First day of school today! I felt alright at first. Until I got home and I was talking to my mum about how it was and I suddenly realised that yep, it's really officially the end of my awesome 8months of holidays. And I have 4 more years until I graduate from SMU. That's when I really got hit hard that yep, no more being able to do whatever I want and not study for another 4 more years. =\ A bit slow of me to suddenly realise that but yea, it came. Lol! I probably didn't feel it in the morning 'cause I was struggling to stay awake. Haha! Another morning class tmr too. =( Ok lar, morning classes have their advantages. But having to drag myself out of bed for it is hard. BUT YES, I've done it for the past many years, what's another 4 years right? Lol! And actually, it's only just this sem and only 3 times a day I have to wake up super early. So yes, I shouldn't complain.

But wah. That moment when I was talking to my mum and then realising that it's really 4 more years, I just felt this strange feeling. Lol! Honestly, I don't know what to expect from this 4 years. I don't know how it's all going to finish up. The most important thing is what happens after the 4 years I guess. But yep, I know I shouldn't worry about all that now. Just live the present. HAHA! I'll sign up for stuffs and not be lazy. And join non club stuffs too. Yes yes, it's really high time I join like outdoor stuffs after 12 years in clubs. BUT TO MY DEFENCE, I really enjoyed my club CCAs too. But yes, time for change I know. I'll still join some club stuffs though. Lol! Doesn't hurt to join more CCAs in uni. =D

Ahhh so strange to be known as a university student. It sounds so old. =\ This growing up thing is really getting on my nerves. Yes, it's stupid to be annoyed with growing up but I really don't want to grow up. I still want to be able to do childish stuffs and not be judged for them. Lol! Ok lar, technically, you can still do childish stuffs. Just that yea, pple will be wondering what's wrong with this person.

Oh well, I think Feli, Swap and I were kinda like that today at the food place. Lol! I think we were really tired and drained from the 3hours and 15mins long lesson. So yes, we have reasons for being like that. Sort of. Lol! We really damn high. And we realised we probably look like we really were drunk but we were drunk on air and not alcohol. Haha! Even though I'm stuck with the 2 of them again, still glad that I have them. Heh. Yes, I have no friends. And YAAAA. Feli and I are too scary. We are in the same class for a module that is pre-assigned. Of all the chances man. But yes lar, it kinda made first day of school alright I guess. Haha! And yes, going school together. Even though we had to stand in a very cramped 700. And my bag was annoying.

Ok! Time to go sleep. Lol! It's really back to the same routine again. Sort of. Haha! Just that I'm blogging using my laptop now instead of the desktop computer. =D I realise I'm a very boastful and show-off person when it comes to technology stuffs.  Lol! OKOK 6 hours of lessons tmr. =(

live while we're young

Chanced upon my friend's blog and realised it was updated. Haha! But yes, this quote really strike me. It's so true though. How we tend to think so much about the future that we often neglect the present. How we want so much in the future that we forgot that there is this present to live.

I realise you need simple reminders like these sometimes. To remind yourself that this present moment is what's important and not the future. Yes, the future is important but what is going to happen in the future depends on what happens now. So it makes a lot more sense to live this present and not forget that this is what's most important. Making the most out of the present now. Live. Don't hold back because who knows what's going to happen next.

I guess the thing about this life is that you shouldn't leave too much rooms for regrets. Sure, it's perfectly normal to have regrets in life because you learn from them and make sure that you don't make the same mistakes again. But to be true, you kinda realise that hey, you still gain something from that experience and it's actually not that regretful. Haha! I guess it's all based on how you view things. Different perspectives. But yes, just make sure that you know that you won't regret in the future.

We are young now. The prime time of our years. Haha! Just make sure that you make the most out of everything that you do. Don't worry so much about the future because it hasn't happen yet and just enjoy. Because yes, you only live once. This moment will pass and you know that you will want to look back and know that you made the most out of it. That you have accomplish something that you want to. It really feels nice when you look back at the years behind you and see what you have done over the past few years and feel this strange proud feeling. Haha! That you have made it through all that. And come out better and stronger.

Haha! I tried my best to put the words all out nicely but it's kinda hard. Too long since I wrote essays. Lol! I guess what I'm trying to say is just really to enjoy every moment of your life now. And stop worrying so much about what the future beholds. I mean yea, you still have to make plans about the future and stuffs but don't spend too much time on it that you neglect the present. And you control your own life and how you want to live it. Don't let others control it for you because they aren't the ones living your life.

last week

My last week of bumming around and not doing anything school related. =( I really don't want sch to start. As in I kinda want but I don't wan also. And the don't want more huge part I think. =/ which ah, quite sian ah. But I guess it's because I really don't know what to expect so it's quite scary. It's this whole other system that I'm still quite very confused about but I guess I will understand and get it eventually. Ok, I have to get it eventually if not I will just die.

Anyway, last week before school officially starts for me. And I still have many million things to do. It's so scary how there is still not enough time even though I had almost 9 months. Time is an ass. But ok I know that these 9 months were really quite well spent. I think I should do some monthly thingy post for these 9 months. Like look back at what I've done because I realise I really haven't been posting much about these 9 months. Lazy is one thing. Ok lazy is the only thing. Lol! And yea lar, it kinda makes more sense to just live and not sit in front of the computer to blog about what you have live. Because if it's an event worth remembering, you will remember it even without having to record or write down somewhere. 

But yes, me being me, who likes to write stuffs here and there. And type stuffs and all, I will still want to record them down somewhere. Haha! I really am a sucker for writing stuffs and all. I guess it's really my way of remembering things. 

Quite scared of what's going to come and I know I shouldn't but I know I am. Gah. Ok I really shouldn't think so much before going into something. And really just go and experience and have fun and enjoy. And just yea, live. Don't let the mind thinks so much and just do it. It takes a huge step to come out from this comfort shell that you are so used to since forever but you know that you have to and yea, you will survive.

Ahh I realise the night really makes you think a lot and reflect a lot. Lol! How HTHT usually happens at night. Haha! Ok lar, depends actually. But HTHTs honestly feel nice. And ok ba, just talking to people who you are crazy comfortable with. And remembering that you can still talk. LOL! Sigh. I think maybe I'm being paranoid. Ok I am being paranoid. But it does feel weird though. But I know I'm like that. It's just that I forgot how introverted I was for these 8 months because during these 8 months, I only met up with people who I'm too damn comfortable with that it's impossible for me to be quiet. There's work I guess, but work is different somehow. Haha! 

Oh well. I just need to stop being so paranoid lar. And just remember that I am still myself no matter what. Haha! I know I will be fine lar. Quiet-nature. HAHA! This common word in most of my report cards. But slowly it will change so yes!!! I should stop being so annoyed with myself for being quiet.

young and hopeful

I'm looking through primary school photos now. And I realise how terrible we all look when we were younger. LOL! As in seriously sia. I look damn horrible during then. It's so funny how bad I look. HAHA! But yes, the damn cool thing is how as I'm going through each album, you can really see everyone of us slowly changing as we grow older. And all slowly looking better. HAHA! Except for some lucky few such as Kenneth who just looks pretty since young. Haha!

Times like these make you really thankful that you have this stash of photos from so long ago. Haha! How you can seriously use these photos as blackmail. HAHA! But honestly, I really am glad to have these photos so that these friends can use them during their wedding montage. =D It's damn cute ok!! Like to have photos in every stage of your life that kinda thing. No matter how terrible you look at some point in your life. Haha!

And I really look so much better now lar. It's so scary. Lol! Like from ages of 0 to 8, I was quite cute. HAHA! As in ok, this sounds super ego but I think I was really quite cute then. Lol! Then from ages of 9 to 12, I really look damn geeky lar. Yes, I admit, I really look damn geek. The specs all maybe. Haha! But really look damn bad lar. Then 13 to 14 slowly change a little, a little bit not as bad. Lol! Then after 15, it's really slowly better already. As compared to that scary ages of 9 to 12. At least now you know that you don't look so bad anymore ar. HAHA!

So yes, taking photos is important. Haha! I realise how little photos there are around lately 'cause I'm lazy to take photos all. But I also realise how everyone is more sporting in taking photos now. HAHA! Like last time I really need to force them to take one. Now they will say okok. =D But yes, I realise last time photos really damn bad. All blur and stuffs one. I don't know how I stand it last time but now I really cannot stand blur photos. DSLR fault I think. Lol!

AND YES OMG VIDEOS!!! I REALLY WANTED TO DIE LAUGHING WATCHING ALL THOSE OLD VIDEOS. Because the voices are all damn high pitch and you know that those voices came from THE GUYS and not the girls. So it makes it even more hilarious and I really felt goosebumps watching those videos. LOL! Like really sia. It's damn funny. Haha!

And yes, after looking through all them photos, I still feel so thankful that I still have these people in my life still. And how they become more important after we graduated and how I know that this is one friendship that will stuck for life. And yes, I'm still amazed at how we managed to keep up with each other. Even after going to different secondary schools. And wanting to go to the same JC but ended up in different JCs anyway. Yet nothing can really tear us apart. Like I mean yea, we can go on days or months without meeting each other but there is just this something that bond us together and it's just hard to break it away. Almost 9 or 11 or 13 years since I know them. Almost 7 years since we graduated. And for the fact that we are still meeting up after so long, still talking nonsense yet serious stuffs too after so long, you know very well that this friendship is really not going anywhere. Even though they can be bitches who don't reply on Whatsapp. Ok lar, I need to put in more effort in planning meet ups too. LOL! I was more hardworking last time but now that there's Whatsapp, you just become a bit more lazy.

Anyway, yea I just want to say thank you to all them people. Haha! These people who have seriously seen me since when I look so terrible. HAHA! People who grow up together with you. And how we influence each other in some ways, be it small or big. And I guess what really amaze me is how we honestly become closer friends as years go by. I think it's really quite cool somehow. Haha! Ah well. Ok, I shall stop. Haha! I think I'm starting to become repetitive again.

Yesterday I was looking at some old photos of me that my grandma dug out at her house. And I realise how I really still love photos very much. Ok fine, those are my photos but I realise how photos are really awesome? When you look back at them, you just feel this nice fuzzy feeling. It's like it transports you part to that moment and I don't know, it just feels nice. True that some stuffs, the memory of it is enough but sometimes photos just magnify the moment. Like when you can see it. I don't really know how to say this. But yea, I realised yesterday how very much I still love photography. How I still like and want to take photos. Just yes, quite too lazy but I know that I still love it. So yes, this lazy part I really need to get pass it.

I realise how it does actually feels kinda weird when I don't associate myself with camera and with taking photos. Like it's just not me? I guess that's why I still feel kinda out of place sometimes. As in I can still be me without my camera lar. But that's because those pple who I'm with without my camera know that I'm a camera person. And they will remind me from time to time. It's quite funny actually. Haha! Sometimes I'll forget that I am known as the camera person. Then they will say something. HAHA! I think the way I'm typing this out sounds very strange. But yes, sometimes you really forget who you kinda are in other pple's eyes after not being like that for a long time. Maybe they miss me taking photos of them. Heh. Okok, yes I'm quite sure they don't but yea lar. I miss taking photos actually. Every time we met up last time, I'll really spam a lot of photos. Now not so much huh. Maybe because everyone has a camera now with iPhones and Androids. And they take pretty good photos also.

But I really still love camera photos. They are just nicer somehow. DSLR photos. Haha! That day POP's photos were so nice. Heh. And candid photos. Seriously miss being the annoying friend who spams photos at random point and annoys the hell out of everyone.

But yes!! I'll find that girl again. Haha! Since I've got a MacBook now (=DDDD), might as well utilise it well with photoshop and video-making. Yes, I'm really happy that I finally have my own laptop. And it's Mac. =D It's like the ultimate plus point to owning your own MacBook. So happy.

And ok, I am kinda excited for sch to start. It's time to start using my brain again after so many months of inactivity. Ok not completely inactivity but close enough. My job is honestly very no brain needed one. Lol! But still good experience. =D

OK! Posts I owe: Korea Trip, Job Experience and many random bits of my life for the past few months. Haha! I really think that I made quite full use of this break well so I'm quite happy about that. Though yes, I still want more but I know I cannot be greedy. Good enough to have 8 months break. And I know it's going to be the only longest break I'll ever have again. Because yep, life really starts to fast forward real quick once uni starts. And that's kinda what I don't really want but I have no control of. But yep!! All will be well! Haha! Aft 4 years uni, you get a job and somehow yea, things just go quickly from there on. And yep, having your own family. I know it's really still far away but I really want that. Haha! And yes travelling. I really really want to travel. So I need to find a husband who likes to travel also. HAHA! It's true what. If not I'll be very sad. Lol! Ok, in the first place, I doubt I'll be with a guy who doesn't like to travel. It's really not me. Haha!

Ah well, I still have a lot of years ahead of me. I'll take things slow and yep, pace myself well and know what I want to do. I really hope these 4 years in uni will help me decide what I want to do after I graduate from SMU. And yes!! I want to go for an exchange if I can. And I think I should. Since going for exchange in SMU isn't very hard. We'll see how. I'll have to first figure out and settle the timetable for my first semester. I hate bidding lar. It's damn stressful somehow and I don't even know why. Lol!
