So this is the first time I had the car to myself for a week 'cause parents went China and sister had to work. HAHA! Best ever right? And of course, my parents gave green light also. Hehe. Not completely full green light 'cause I'm still under one year probation until 29th May. But they don't really know where I drive to so erm, heh. If they know right, I think they may freak.
Anyway, so here are the lucky people to sit the ride. HAHA! Ok lar, some were like forced to sit or something. But I guess it all turned out good and happy so that's good. And yea, I also realised that car ownership is really not cheap at all. Something that I know from long time ago but like you know, when you experience it first hand, all the petrol, the ERPs, the parking fees, then you can really feel the pain.
And erm, I force them all to take photos just so I can collate all the photos and post it here. HAHA! Yea, lame but I like ah. Fun ma. And ok fine, I admit it, I really just want to show off that I can drive and am not bad at it. Haha! Yes, such lame ego boost but it really feels nice. And when you know your way around without having to check the Google Map sometimes, it just feels kinda shiok. Yes lar, I swear I'm really a person who loves to boast a lot and I believe it's hereditary 'cause my parents like to boast in the harmless way when they can too. I swear their boastings are more ridiculous than mine. And maybe because I think I really really like driving a lot. Like I'm really still not sick of it? It's really still kinda fun. Just that when you are alone at night, it gets slightly scary lar ah. Just that part. Lol! So just blast music and all is fine.
ANYWAY, so the first time I actually drove alone for a long distance was from Changi Airport to Jurong West. LOL! It's like the most you can go and it's the first time I drove alone. After dropping my parents off at the airport, I went straight to Sharon's house for her bday party~ Which I will post later! Heh. And it feels kinda shiok 'cause it's just PIE all the way. And 'cause it was peak hour, there were a lot of cars and I just went to the first lane almost all the way there. Yes, I got excited about that. And wah, it's damn annoying. 'Cause the radio wasn't exactly playing nice songs for me to sing along to until when I reached Jurong. So it's quite weird to sing when you are in the estate area already. But I still did 'cause the song is the must sing kind. Haha!
So my first ever passengers are Sharon and Maddy~~ HAHA
Drove Sharon home and Maddy home after that! And then I drove back alone and ok initially, it felt slightly scary 'cause the roads were almost empty and it was dark. Lol! Like the kind where if anything happened to you, there won't be any witness. HAHA! Yes lar, it was just a short paranoid feeling. But then after that I got the hang of it. Haha! And music makes it all better~
Saturday my sister took the car. Lol! Weekends are like for my sister to drive since I already had the weekdays to drive already. Heh. Then ohya! I drove Haziq and Ben Lee also! Haha! Just that with my sis around 'cause she was a Jurong and we were watching movie at Jurong Point with Jeslynn so since the 2 of them were on my way home, might as well lar ah.
Sunday, I had this kidsRead thing at Keat Hong area. And I was contemplating whether to drive a not and decided not to but then it rained so I regretted not driving. Lol! But anyway, there were these 2 adults with me and Lung so they drove us to BPP after the session~
Then erm, this is going to sound very very lame and doesn't make sense at all but from BPP, Lung walked home with me so that I can drive her home. HAHA! If you think about it, it's really very lame 'cause she can actually take bus back from BPP which may be faster than walking to my hse for me to drive her back. LOL! Yea, we both really weren't thinking much and I think I want her to sit my car ride and she wants to sit also. Hence, the lameness. HAHA! Like when I came home to take the car keys, my sister just like huh, what? Then she just accepted the fact that her sister is kinda weird sometimes. Don't judge ok friends. It's really the only time after so long since I've gotten my driving licence that I can show off with not much restrictions.
Monday!!! This one is plan one so it's all good. Haha! But ok fine, the plan also quite lame. And it's really just all me wanting to drive. Initially, the plan was to pick up Feli, Swap and WY and we go eat lunch at somewhere then I drive them to Junction 10 and then go pick up Fizla 'cause she had to do prayers. But of course, us being latebirds whenever it's just the 5 of us meeting, it became fetch Feli, go Greenridge to eat, fetch Faeqa and Swap, fetch WY, go Junction 10 and sing song. Haha! Yea, we kinda suck. We were supposed to be at Junction 10 at 1pm but we ended up there at 1.30pm. Best thing is that we actually had a car to make us reach there faster BY RIGHT. And also it's Junction 10. It's like not far at all. Maybe it's the car. HAHA! But eh, I really just wanted to drive people while I had the chance. HAHA!
Ohya, and I swear ah, Teo Heng with them is just madness. You don't sing one. You just scream. But omg, I love singing Numb and It's My Life and all those hardcore can scream songs. Just go all out that kind one. All our throats wanted to die after that. Ok not all of us but most of us.
So after Teo Heng, we went Plaza 'cause more food options. Haha! Then I went to fetch my grandma. And came to pick them up after that. And then we sort of road trip. LOL! We went to Sengkang for Sim 'cause she had to take some clothes from someone. BURDEN. Anyway, so yep, I drove there for her 'cause might as well since we wanted to eat at Swee Choon for dinner after that. Quite fun 'cause it's a part of SG that we never been before. But got heavy traffic at some parts so it was a long journey. And that woman ah, see Punggol, Hougang and I don't know what and got really excited about it. Like first time seeing them. Lame sia.
After that, we went to Swee Choon!! My first time ever. Haha! And ok the photo below was the only one I took 'cause I was more hungry than wanting to take a nice photo. The food was good though. Like really nice. I like ah. I like Chinese food. Haha! So yes, first visit to Swee Choon and I'm very very happy with it. HAHA!
And so we took photos.
And then I wanted to lock Sim out but too slow. =(
Anyway, so fetch all these burdens home and that was our road trip day. HAHA! But wah, car is honestly very good when you go places that are not very accessible by public transport. Like it's just more fun with a car? Haha! Parking expensive ah but it's still really fun somehow. Lol!
Tuesday! Yes, I really drove everyday that week even though I didn't intend on doing so at first. Anyway, so Tuesday was with Nisa!! And Feli. Haha! We wanted to sing at first but we got lazy. Yes we suck. So I fetch my grandma to Bukit Batok then I went to Parc Oasis to fetch Nisa. HAHA! It really was on the way so might as well. And then I had Nisa to help me water the plants. Haha! Yes, burdens of parents going overseas; you need to do housework yourself.
Went to fetch Feli and we decided to go Bukit Timah to eat lunch! At the Al-Azhar place. Food was quite nice so not bad~ Then we decided to go back to my house to slack 'cause free parking. HAHA! Yes, parking was really an annoying issue when driving.
Anyway, so there's that. And ohya! At night, I went to my grandma's hse for dinner! Then after that met Jinghan and Feli for supperrrrr! Supposed to be dinner, and it was dinner for the other 2. Heh. And at first it was just downstairs but suddenly they decided that they want to go Bukit Timah Food Centre. 'Cause Sim got cravings for carrot cake. And I kinda need to top up petrol also. Lol!
OH YES! First petrol experience. I was confused. Lol! Had trouble finding the thing to open the petrol thing but found it ultimately. HAHA! And yes, the people there also helped me so it's all good. After eating, drove back to my house and they came up so that we can sit and chill for awhile. Yea, we like to chill a lot.

Wednesday! Didn't intend on driving but then my mouth big big ah. LOL! Went to school early in the morning to earn $50 for just sitting in the audience. HAHA! Easy money right! I think so too. Anyway, so after that I was supposed to meet up with Qiaofen, Jiesi, PuiLing and Feli at Bugis. But then I happy happy go say I'll go home and drive out the car so we can go cafe hopping. Yes, no idea why I must suggest that. Somtimes, I really wonder how my brains work.
Anyway, so I went home and took the car. AND OHYA. The night before, after having supper with JH and Feli, I accidentally parked the car under a tree. 'Cause you see, the tree is in between 2 parking lots. So I only see it at the other lot and didn't realise that the lot that I parked at also was under the tree. So when I went to my car the next day, it was really Merry Christmas. The whole bloody car was filled with bird shit. It's like the birds in that tree just had some shitting competition in the morning. Bloody hell right? I was too sian and tired to care that I just went into the car and drove off. LOL
Best part was that I drove in that bird shit filled car the whole day. Just like that. HAHA! But not bad lar, means no one would want to do anything to the car since there were so many bird shit. HAHA! But it's really amazing how the rest actually were alright sitting in the car. HAHA! Like they weren't that grossed out 'cause when I was cleaning it at night, I was damn grossed out.
Anyway, so after fetching Jiesi and Feli, we went to fetch PuiLing! And then we went over to Lavender 'cause Qf said that there were some nice cafes there. And so our adventure begins. Haha!
First, we had a problem finding Qf. So I think we circled a place. I don't know. Lol! Then after fetching her, we had trouble finding the place. HAHA! Then after we finally parked the car, we went to the place where we wanted to go but then there weren't seats there. So we went to another place but the place was closed that day. And then we went to another cafe but then we realised that the food didn't look that great. So we went back to the first cafe that we wanted to go and we just missed the kitchen by like 5 mins 'cause the kitchen was closed at 5pm and we went in at 5.05pm I think. So yes, imagine how perplexed we all were. Like wow man. HAHA! We really suck. Our cafe hopping was literally cafe hopping. But hop and away and not stay and eat. LOL! We really no fate with cafe hop lar ah. We accepted this. Haha!
So finally, we decided to go eat at Swee Choon 'cause we really give up liao. Lol! And yes, the best part is that Feli and I just went there 2 days also. LOL! So yes, it's like a bit often ah. But we were really lazy to come up with another place so we just accept Swee Choon. And we were just hungry already. Feli and Js best lar. Never eat anything at all I think? Or I think it was just Feli who had her first meal that day at 6pm. HAHA but there were some Tim Tams that she had to survive one. Poor child. HAHA!
Anyway, so after Swee Choon we decided to go somewhere else to lepak. And we ended up going to Qiaofen's house. Lol! Wanted to go to Qf's mum's store to try the desserts but we were too late. Haha! But anyway, yea lor. Went to Qiaofen's house and slack and talk and chill. Haha! We are all too damn lepak already. But I like. Hehe.
After that drove the rest back and went home~ I realise, Sim is like there forever. Lol! But good lar. Then I won't be alone for a longer distance since it's just from her house to my house that I'll be alone. Haha! And ya! That's why I was telling Feli how it's good to drive JH so that I will really just have someon to pei me all the way. HAHA! But eh, he can benefit too since as long as I go home, he can go home also. Not bad right!! Haha!
Thursday! Thursday not that adventurous lar ah. Lol! I just drove to my grandma's house then to Queentown area for some CIP stuffs. And ohya, that day I wasn't feeling very well 'cause I also don't know why. Lol! The night before suddenly my nose started flowing and ok, I shall not continue but yea, wasn't feeling very well but I just went for it. Hence I drive ah. Haha! 'Cause public transport will be very annoying.
Anyway, so after the CIP event, which is basically interacting with elderly and it was quite nice actually. Like just sit there and listen to their stories and play some simple games with them. They are quite cute ah. Haha! Anyway, so after that I fetch Teoh home 'cause she stays so near me. Haha! And another friend also. And ohya! My car is really not bad I think. Lol! As in it's really quite big and can squeeze one. 'Cause some of them wanted to go Ikea after that so I drove them there as well. So the backseat had 5 people. LOL! And it's not super crazy squeezy. Like still ok. Haha! But then again, 5 girls so it's quite okay one. And short distance also so it's fine actually. Haha!
And ohya! I'm part of the committee in this event SMU Challenge with Teoh. Lol! It has been so long since I've mentioned her name. But ok lar, it's actually quite alright. Haha! As in it's not awkward or whatever but then again, usually I'm okay with Teoh anyway. It's just quite cool how so coincidental and stuffs!
Anyway, so Friday!!! Friday actually at first nothing plan out. And it was all very last minute actually. Haha! I had to go Bugis to collect my film then I was really lazy to take bus and I think very waste money to just take bus to collect film and go home. So I wanted to drive but I don't want to just drive there just for that. So I texted Kamin and decided to meet up with her since her school is near Bugis. Haha! Not bad right! Ok lar, I haven't met Kamin in a long time also so just nice. Heh.
And yes!! Heart pain. I went into the parking lot to park and there was 10 minutes grace period but I think I missed the 10mins by 1-2 minutes and then $2.35. =( I was really sad at first. But then Js told me how her friend had to pay $6 without even getting out of the car. LOL! So yea, that kinda made me feel better. HAHA! Yes, it's very bad to feel happy in someone's pain but this one really quite funny. And since I know the person also. HAHA!
Anyway, so Kamin and I went to IMM 'cause free parking for first 3 hours. HAHA! We really both heart pain from the $2.35.
After that I went to find Nisa 'cause free parking. HAHA! I need to stop saying free parking. But no lar. I find her 'cause I had to go fetch my grandma at Bukit Batok again and it doesn't make sense for me to go home from Jurong and then come out again so might as well just stay in Jurong.
Went up to her house and we actually just sat there and talk for awhile before we left and I sent her to NTU again. HAHA! Ohya! She had to go to school for performance practice. She's having a production soon! Haha! Though she's not main lead but never lar ah.
But yea, I realised in that one week of driving, I went to Swee Choon twice and NTU twice. Lol! Fun ah. Ok lar, really quite fun. Haha! I'm easily satisfied I know.
And never take photo with Nisa 'cause she's annoying. I tell her I want take photo already but we kept forgetting. We suck ah. But nevermind, there will be next time I'm sure. Heh.
Saturday, no car adventure. Haha! 'Cause the sister took the car away. Oh! Actually have ah, at night. Lol! But anyway, since I'm at it, might as well blog about it. Met up with Junyuan, Swe and Js for lunch. And erm, supposed to be 12pm but I woke up at 1pm. Haha! I think they really wanted to murder but 'cause they were eating when I finally met them, they were are peace. Haha! Plus, I had souveniers from Australia. Haha! Bribery.
Went to Orchard Central to chill 'cause it's always the best place to chill in town. Haha! Still one of my favourite malls in town somehow. I think 'cause it's usually still quite empty so it's good. Anyway, so we sat and talk about whatever there is. Haha! Then Darren came over to join us. Then Feli came and then Junyuan left. So at first, I didn't realise that when Junyuan leave, I would be with Feli, Swe, Jiesi and Darren. Which also means that I'll be left with 2 couples. FUN RIGHT!!! I'm like shining so brightly as a lightbulb. So I was like JUNYUAN WHY YOU LEAVE ME! But ok lar, it was actually fine. Haha! 'Cause they are all my friends so it's actually okay. And Feli and Swe walked with me. HAHA! Lame dudes the two of them but yea lar. My favourite lame dudes.
Went to Bugis 'cause Swe needed to get somethng and we decided to havae dinner there also.
Walked to SMU to take 190 or 700 'cause I also don't know why. Got the mood to walk ah I guess. Then aft Feli, Swe and I got down the bus and was walking home, Feli suddenly asked if want to watch movie at my house. LOL! Yes, she damn spontaneous woman. Or more specifically, she really wants to watch Dallas Buyers Club but she don't dare watch it alone. LOL! So they came to my house 'cause I also wanted to drive Swe home. HAHA!
We ended up watching Aladdin instead though. Lol! 'Cause Swe and I didn't really want to watch Dallas Buyers Club at that time. You just don't want to watch heavy movies when you feel slightly sleepy. And as I watch Aladdin, I realised I forgot a lot of parts in the movie. Lol! I think when you watch a movie when you are young, you rmb only certain parts of the movie. Haha! But yes, I still love it. It's still very awesome. And I just love how Disney make references to other movies in each movies. So fun. And how they can create life in a freaking carpet. Sorry, I am really a Disney kid here who believe in Disney magic. And really likes to watch cartoons.
Anyway, so after the movie, we almost went for supper but Swe was going to KO soon already. Haha! Drove him back~ And yes, he praise my driving skills too. HAHA! And yes, he agrees that after paying so much to learn driving, it makes sense to boast about it to others when you pass. Haha!
So that's Saturday! Sunday, almost another adventure. But many people not free, my sister drove the car out, and I got lazy. Mainly 'cause my sister drove the car out so there wasn't any car around for me to drive in the first place. LOL! And aha, almost wanted to send a sad army boy back to camp just so that I can erm, show off my driving skill. HAHA! But then I got lazy and the camp is too damn bloody far and scary. Lol! And yea lar, I'm not THAT hardworking.
So yep! That was my week of adventure with the car. HAHA! And after my parents came back, I went Malaysia with them and yes, driving in Malaysia is honestly really quite shiok. Especially the highway 'cause you are allowed to speed. And you must speed if not the car behind you will be a bastard and follow you damn closely.
But yes, another time when my parents go overseas. Haha! And not Malaysia 'cause they will drive the car up to Malaysia. And actually, I think now, as long as they aren't using the car and if I ask for permission, they will most likely let me drive 'cause after tmr, I'm officially a one year driver~ Haha! SO YAYYYYY!! Can't wait to drive many more other people. These are like the lucky few who got to sit my car ride~ Heh. Ok lar fine. The sad few who need to please my ego. But sigh, car is really quite fun 'cause you can really just do all nonsense in it without caring. Like even though sometimes we also do nonsense stuffs on public transport without caring, in the car, you can really just go all out. HAHA!
Oh well, until next time~ Haha! One day, I will get my own car. But yea, not anytime soon but yes I will. And I'm so glad I've gotten my license early. Haha! And I really still like driving. And ok, I shall stop typing and sleep 'cause I'm tired and not talking much sense now already.
